I know at times it seems like we have so many questions regarding our situations and why God isn't hurrying up and answering but stay strong.

Celebrating Fathers....I have a Maker (TSMSS)

I thank God Bunny girl and Bunny Boo are blessed with a wise, God fearing and loving father who truly leads by example.

It's such a blessing to have our lives enriched by fathers who seek to mirror the Face our Heavenly Father. I pray this verse from Numbers 6:22-24 into your lives....

The LORD bless you, and keep you.
The LORD make His Face shine upon you and be gracious unto you.
The LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give thee peace.

There may be days when it all gets a bit too much but in those times encourage yourselves in God and look up to our Heavenly Father, His Strength will help you through.

When Hubby and I committed to each other in marriage, we always prayed (and continue to pray) out this one verse from the book of Joshua
"As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).

Glory To The King (TSMSS)

There are days that can get overwhelming. Days where you feel like all you've been doing is running around like a headless chicken and hey, it's not even 3 pm yet!
During such times force yourself to stop, sit down in a chair, close your eyes and just lift up your heart to the LORD.
There have been countless times I have done this and He has never failed me.

Today was one such action packed, 'lots crammed into a few hours' kind of day but I forced myself to sit down and this beautiful worship song just refreshed my spirit right away.



I thank God that He is just a whisper away. His Faithfulness never fails to blow me away.

We received a praise report in church this morning from one of our member's that God has been shrinking his malignant tumor in such an amazing way that even the doctors are dumbfounded. I will be honest. I was excited to receive The Velveteen Bible and assumed it would be a great picture Bible for us to save for a young child this Easter. The sweet little Bunny on the front, I guess, in some way, built up an anticipation to see a Bible filled with similar pictures but this is not so.

The Bible holds a little over 8-9 illustrations and that's where the "little kids" touch ends. This "handy to carry along to church" Bible would be apt for a tween as this is a regular NKJV version Bible. (We're strong NKJV lovers in our home.) I personally think this would be too grown up for a younger child to use also because the paper used is regular wafer thin Bible paper.

This Bible includes a reading plan at the end....a great way to encourage your child to complete reading through the Bible from start to finish, in a year's time.

The Moon Shines Down is sweet bedtime story in rhyme that will take your little sleepy head and the little koala around the world as the Moon shines down upon the children in Switzerland, Mexico, France, Australia, England, Africa.

This book immediately transported me back to my childhood reminding me of when my Mother would sing "I see the Moon" to me.

I also love that this is a sturdy board book that will withstand rough handling by eager little hands wanting to see Linda Bleck's beautifully illustrated pictures with bold colors and characters (especially the little koala) with round button eyes and happy faces.

I would definitely recommend this book as one of those "warm, fuzzy" feeling books to share with your young ones.
