Inspired by Baby's First Bible with the adorable fuzzy duck cover, this new offering for little ones, The Velveteen Bible features soft fur and a fuzzy tail!

I will be honest. I was excited to receive The Velveteen Bible and assumed it would be a great picture Bible for us to save for a young child this Easter. The sweet little Bunny on the front, I guess, in some way, built up an anticipation to see a Bible filled with similar pictures but this is not so.

The Bible holds a little over 8-9 illustrations and that's where the "little kids" touch ends. This "handy to carry along to church" Bible would be apt for a tween as this is a regular NKJV version Bible. (We're strong NKJV lovers in our home.) I personally think this would be too grown up for a younger child to use also because the paper used is regular wafer thin Bible paper.

This Bible includes a reading plan at the end....a great way to encourage your child to complete reading through the Bible from start to finish, in a year's time.

My mother works as an administrator in a Christian organization. Each day begins with a chapel service, something that she loves attending. We gave this Bible Storybook to the children as their 'Countdown to Christmas' prezzie.
Bunny girl and I have so much fun enacting out each page with the Sssssshhhh noises, baby rocking actions and more, while Bunny Boo watches us thoroughly entertained!

The book is a board book, making it a great 'frequent read' in the hands of a little child. I'm believing our copy will still be in great shape for Bunny Boo next Christmas.

I definitely think this would be a great Christmas book for toddlers and preschoolers as it gets them involved in mimicking your mimes and helps them understand the Christmas story in a simple yet memorable way.

My Princess Bible is a 64 paged board book Bible that features 19 Biblical Princesses and highlights a characteristic feature of each. The Princesses include Sarah, Miriam Ruth, Rahab, Esther and even Jairus' daughter.

I would definitely recommend that this 6.30" x 9.20" x 1.60" gilded-silver edged Bible be bought an additional seal-over cover to enhance the life of the Bible as it will get smudgy with frequency in use.
(Ask me, I know. I love picking up my new Bible to read, so much so that its now slowly looking a little dull and smudged on the light blue exterior part. Considering its not a month old yet, I know I have to go get myself a cover for the same to prolong the cover's life.)

What else can I say but this....I've been blessed with this Bible and I know that this is one investment, ladies, you will NOT regret making.
