Learning Curve products have been bought for babies by a countless number of parents over the years. E.B. Mommy's Report:

I still remember the day Bunny Boo discovered he could roll over onto his tummy and explore a new environment....the floor. We'd place him on his colorful playmat and watch him gurgle at the bold colored shapes and patterns. When I opened out the Lamaze Tummy Time Air by Learning Curve before passing it on for a friend's 5 month old baby to use, I was intrigued to find the little Tummy arch. I thought this was a unique addition to the mat....a neat way to keep a baby's head from flopping face down onto the mat.


The arch includes a crinkly corn attachment and a teething toy attachment as well.

The mirror is another addition all babies will enjoy. Bunny Boo's playmat had an attached mirror that would entertain him for long periods of time. He'd peer into it and coo to it. I'm sure he thought he was talking to a new buddy!


I like the colorful, happy animal pictures on the mat but really wish the material used would've been cotton instead of polyester. Bunny Boo would get uncomfortable and sweaty when placed on polyester based mats so I'd place a cotton sheet over the mat to keep him cool and relaxed.


Otherwise this makes a great carry-along especially if you'd like to put your little one down to play while visiting with friends or even at a park.

Bunny Boo is a "swaddle" testament. We swaddled him for the first 3 months or so and then slowly phased out swaddling and replaced the swaddles with sleep sacks only because his swaddle cloths got a little too short for my big boy! I haven't thrown out any of his swaddle sheets and just last evening put his Ultimate Receiving Blanket (that is now being used as a 'lie on' cover) in for its weekly wash.

The reason behind why they've included two fabric options, can be found in the SwaddleDesigns Goldilocks Guide. Basically, the "baby should not be too hot, or too cold, but just right ~ comfortably warm." The Goldilock’s Guide also helps new parents remember the importance of keeping baby comfortably warm.

What I love about this set is the choice of two varying swaddle fabrics especially considering we have such a variance in temperatures, especially here in Texas.


Both blankets can also be used as nursing cover ups when you've forgotten to carry your nursing cover along!

If you're a new Mommy-to-be I would definitely recommend this as a wise add when you're drawing up your list of baby essentials before your baby shower.

Aden + Anais sleeping bags....Mommy Approved, Baby Loved (+Giveaway)

The Buzz:

Aden + Anais continues to feature on my list of top Mommy Approved, Baby Loved products. I have raved about Aden + Anais' cotton muslin products in the past and cannot turn down the opportunity to test out another great product from their collection....the Classic Sleeping Bag.

The Classic Sleeping Bag is a single layered, 100% cotton muslin "bag" that is to be pulled over your baby's clothes. This is yet another alternative to using a baby blanket for your baby.



E.B. Mommy's Report:

Bunny Boo is a tall 11 month old, so keeping in mind how quickly he grows and my desire to put this product to good use atleast for a few months, I ordered the largest size perfect for an 18-24 month old baby.


Not only is the bag a more convenient and comfortable option as it saves having to cover Bunny Boo with a blanket (Oh yes, he's at that wiggly squirmy stage.) but it's also a safer sleeping arrangement for him. (The SIDS scare is still very real so it's always better to be safe than sorry!)

The fabric used is a light-weight muslin which is comfortable even for those hot, humid summer months.

My favorite feature in this product is definitely the bottom-to-top zipper that makes late night diaper changes a breeze!



Would I recommend this as a baby gift for the next baby shower you plan to attend?....
Oh yeah! Without any hesitation!!

Bunny Boo has been on a growth spurt and it was time I stopped stuffing his growing feet into his now "too small" shoes. He must've been so relieved when I slipped his chubby little feet into the new Rileyroos Chessie Navy shoes!



These handcrafted, light-weight, leather shoes are perfect for my experimenting little cruising baby. The shoes have padded leather collars for cushioned comfort and flexible leather soles with rubber traction pads.



They're easy to slip on and slip off and can be tightened by adjusting the two velcro straps on each shoe.

I love the pockets on the shoe that allow his little feet to breathe, making them great for the summer considering they protect his feet completely yet allow sufficient air flow to keep his baby feet ventilated. This pair goes great with a casual thrown together look or even when my dashing lad dresses dapper with his "church best" attire.

I know before he outgrows these I will be looking to get him a similar pair in a larger size., maybe the next time in Chocolate!

We got our bébéPOD flex when Bunny Boo was close to 9 months old and honestly I wish we had it around when he was learning to sit with support.

This is a great "first seat" for babies with supported sitting especially as it's design ensures the infant is comfortable, well packed into the seat and supported, so there really isn't the fear that he/she will slip out. Plus the seat-belt straps give your little one that additional protection.


The seat is lightweight, portable and easy to carry along to restaurants and even on a trip away from home, to use to feed your child. The "DUAL STRAP SYSTEM" easily secures the bébéPOD flex onto any chair and is the mildest germophobic's dream come true, as an alternative to germ infested highchairs in public places.


This Pediatrician approved and recommended infant seat has my Mommy vote of approval and has already been "baby-marked" by a friend for her little one once Bunny Boo outgrows it!

I admit it. Bunny Boo has one of the most padded and comfy baby car seats today, thanks to The First Years. Yes it is much wider than a regular car seat and heavy but since we have it permanently placed in Daddy's car, we have no complaints! Thus when I was asked to review The First Years Ignite Lightweight Stroller I was excited as it couldn't have come at a better time.


The Buzz:

Bunny Boo has just crossed the 9 month milestone and is becoming a little too heavy for me to carry around everywhere especially while dropping and picking Bunny girl to preschool. We have a great jogging stroller but it's way too bulky to place in the car and swiftly pull out to use. It's around the time I was contemplating to go "stroller shopping" that we were sent the Ignite Stroller in Red Stripe. (God has awesome timing, honestly!)



The stroller comes compact in package and requires minimal assembly. The only things you need to do are fit in the 6" wheels and attach the canopy.



This 14 lb Ignite Lightweight Stroller has tall handles (This is helpful especially if you're a taller person and if you generally suffer from back aches and strains) and a 5 point harness that keeps a wriggly baby safely strapped in.
(Mine's more of a bouncy baby than wriggly, so this is perfect!)



The wide passenger seat can be reclined by adjusting the toggles found behind the little passenger's seat.



The stroller also comes with a fully adjustable and removable canopy that will shade your baby well as long as he/she doesn't like to pop forward to enjoy the moving scenery that passes by. (Yes that's my Bunny Boo for you!)



What's also neat about this stroller is that it has two storage compartments: an upper storage console to stash away those keys, wallet, a bottle of water and your mobile phone and a lower basket storage for your handbag.



On the movement safety front, it comes with rear wheel brakes and front wheel swivel locks to keep the stroller stationary and secure, when required.

There are four things I love about this stroller:

1. I can use the same till Bunny Boo weighs 50 lbs. (That's value for money!)
2. Its lightweight yet sturdy in framework. (Pulling out 14 lbs from the car beats carrying a 20lb infant around)
3. It has two storage compartments, something that both my other lightweight strollers for Bunny girl never did have. (Sure I wish the lower basket was a little bigger and had an easier "place things in"-"take things out" passageway but atleast it's there!)



4. The stroller is easy to pull open and fold up and fits perfectly in my car's trunk, without hogging up unnecessary space .
