When Hubby and I committed to each other in marriage, we always prayed (and continue to pray) out this one verse from the book of Joshua
"As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).
Even as I type out the words, it brings an excitement into my spirit. Why? Because I know God's Word is True and that the day will come when every generation in my family WILL serve Him. I may not live to see it all unfurl but I trust each member into my Heavenly Father's care and know that in His Time, they will.

It's so reassuring to have that confidence in a God who hears our every prayer. A God who says "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you"(Matthew 7:7).

I've always loved this verse, so was naturally thrilled to discover that DaySpring, my favorite Christian online gift store, has this classy Ask, Seek, Knock wall hanging carved in wood.


This 21" x 21" hanging looks nothing like its photograph on the site. The hanging
looks very brown-red in the same but the piece we received actually looks more brown-black in color when hung on the wall. (Yay!)


We didn't even have any problems hanging it our piece. We simply used some monkey hooks we had lying around in the garage and "Ta-dah"!


I'm actually very pleased with what we received as the hanging complements everything in our guest room to a tee.
I love how when one steps into our guest bedroom the first thing their sight will fall upon is this reminder that God will answer....if only they ask Him in prayer.

I just have one word of advice for when you plan to shop at DaySpring....start shopping a few days ahead. Only because the store has so many wonderful products, you will find it hard to narrow down to a choice of even three in just under an hour!

There are a few 'brands' that have a special place in my heart and one of them is DaySpring. I've loved DaySpring cards since, hmmm lets say forever! I even still remember the day I found their gift store online...boy, was I like a child let loose in a candy shop!

Another favorite in our order list was the Really Woolly Comfort figurine that reached us a week before a friend's father went Home to be with the Lord.


The little figurine has the verse "Your Rod and Your Staff Comfort Me" (Psalm 23) inscribed on the mound and we honestly pray it will bring encouragement and strength to our friend each time she looks at it and is reminded that her Heavenly Father is watching over her.

Early on in September, I was blessed to win a gift certificate from a beautiful Christian company called Blessings Unlimited.
