Choose the 8x10 size, pick the photos from your album, fill in your details and key in the coupon code FUNDAY during check out. 8 bottles of spaghetti sauce and more for FREE plus 1.37$ profit!

Can you believe I actually got ALL this for free with a 1.37$ profit? Thanks to Hip2Save's post (click the Walgreens tab in the right hand margin to view this week's Walgreens deals) I replicated the deals and voila....here's the steal!! (Loved the look on Hubby's face...priceless! He's totally into the frugal profiting now!!)

I bought:

8 bottles of Ragu Spaghetti Sauce @ 2$ each
3 Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookie packs (1 pack is missing as I took it along for my kiddos class at church for snack time.)@ 2$ each
2 Rice Krispies Packs @ 2$ each
1 Vitamin Conditioner (Won't use this, so into the box of stuff for the bank shall it go :>)
1 pack of Gum Toothbrushes

Coupons used :

4 1$/2 Ragu coupons from Bricks (I fortunately printed these out while the prints were out for the campaign. They didn't have any limit on them, so I could print off 4.)
1 1$/2 Rice Krispies coupons from the 8/2 Red Plum coupon insert
2 1$ off 1 Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies (I had these printed out last month when the campaign was still live)
1 55 cents off 1 Keebler product (Printed off from an earlier campaign)
5$ off 25$ Walgreens coupon (valid Aug 5th and 6th)


Total paid out of pocket: 21.13$
Savings: 29.35$
Register Rewards received: 23.50$ (This may be used on future Walgreens purchases)

In effect I got all this for FREE with a profit of 1.37$. (Or like I love saying...I was paid 1.37$ to buy all this...lol!!)

Quick WAGS stop- saved 10.19$ + got free stuff and an overage of 70 cents

Did a quick stop at Walgreens yesterday. Hadn't sorted out the coupons to match the week's deals so just picked up what I could find.
This is what I bought:

In effect I spent 6.29$ but have got back a total of 6.99$ from the rewards received + considering the rebate that will come in. 70 cents overage! Not much but then consider I got all this for FREE.

Like I always say.. "Couponing pays and is never a waste of time!"

P.S. Check your local Walgreens clearance section. 2 days ago I found a pack of 10 food storage boxes orginally priced at 5$, clearanced down to 1.75$. For 10 food storage boxes I thought this was a good deal. I also bought 3 tubes of Quick Fix Super glue clearanced down to 27 cents a tube.

P.P.S. Hubby doesn't use Degree, so this goes into the box for the Salvation Army. This is what I believe...

You may not use all the stuff you buy but if you can get something for free, buy it anyway and keep it in a box you set aside to donate to your local Food Bank or the Salvation Army. Somebody less fortunate can always benefit with your frugality!

Lysol steal at Walgreens (till June 20 '09)

This deal will last till the end of this week: June 20, so hurry down to WAGS and see if your store sells the Lysol disinfectant (12.5 oz) along with the 4 in 1 Lysol 35 wipes canister in a pack.

Mine did and I was thrilled with the buy. Each pack is originally priced at 5.29$ each but this week Walgreens has this on sale ( yes even the disinfectant and wipes pack) for 3.50$ when you buy two. Plus after checkout, the rewards machine spits out a 2$ register reward.

Now this is how I got 2 of the packs pictured on the right for a total of 1.00$, plus tax. (Thereby making each product a mere 25 cents each!)


Bought 2 packs(3.50$ each) for 7$
Minus 2 2$ coupons from the May 3rd edition of the Smart Source

Total: 3.25$ (including tax)
Received back a Register Reward for 2$

In effect I got 4 great Lysol products for 1.25$ (incl. tax) only.
