E.B. Mommy's Report:

One featured Timex StyleWatch product is the Timex Camper.

This watch is a great "daily use", easy to read watch that has luminescent hands and markers. It is water resistant to 30 meters and is simple yet fashionable in design.

The only concern I have is the color of the fabric. Considering I'm always on the go with my two "Bunnies", I'm seriously having second thoughts on using this daily. Perhaps wearing the same only for occasions will save the clean, white strap, atleast for a considerable amount of time!
And for rugged, everyday use maybe I should invest in the black strapped one because it's not always you find something that's sleek, practical and at a great price. (Plus you know how the Timex brand has that reserved position of sentimental prominence in my heart!)

Buy it:

You can buy a Timex Camper for 35 US$.

CLOSED: Baby Bounty Bash - Timex Ironman Shock Resistant Watch (+Giveaway)

This post is a 'Baby Bounty Bash' feature...The Online Baby Shower Extravaganza on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from March 25- May 5 2010 .

For a list of all the live giveaways visit 'The Junction'

* Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

You know I have a soft corner for all things Timex (read an older post), so when I was offered another opportunity to put up another great giveaway, I just could not resist. It has come at a great time especially with the Baby Carnival live.

Our Timex feature is apt as all us Mommies know how we leave the hospital with a bundle of joy in our arms and layers of fat sagging around our tummy. Getting back into shape is not always easy post pregnancy. For some of us exercising is a breeze but for others we'd rather slink back under the covers for an extra fifteen minutes of shut eye!

Timex has brought out the Ironman Shock Resistant 30 lap vivid color watch that will remind you to get out there every morning/evening and burn off those pregnancy fat flaps with some simple walk laps or, if you're a motivated 'lets do it' Mommy, a few rigorous sprints !

The Timex Ironman Shock Resistant 30 lap vivid color watch comes equipped with the following features:
  • Designed to shock resistant ISO standards providing ultimate dependability and ruggedness.
  • 100 hour chronograph with lap or split in large digits
  • 30 lap memory recall for effortless review after workout
  • On the fly recall of lap or split
  • 99 lap counter
  • Easy to use 24 hour countdown timer with countdown/stop and countdown/repeat
  • Alarm settable for daily/weekday/weekend/weekly with 5 minute back up
  • 2 time zone settings to make travel easy
  • Top pusher for easy lap and split option
  • All day white reflector display
  • Built in setting reminders to quickly and easily set your watch
  • Forward/backward setting for ease of use
  • Dependable water resistance to 200m
  • Easy to view in dark conditions with INDIGLO night light
  • Activate INDIGLO night light with the press of any button using NIGHT-MODE feature.
My favorite features on this watch (besides the elementary INDIGLO, alarm and 2 time zone settings) is the 30 lap memory recall as I honestly feel this will be a way to motivate me to get came into 'fighting fit' form after Bunny Boo's birth and stay on track with consistent momentum in my 'walk-out' routine.

The Timex Ironman Shock Resistant 30 lap vivid color watch is available in these 'happy' colors:
  • White
  • Lemon yellow
  • Twilight purple
  • Aqua blue or
  • Hot pink
(I picked white as it was the most mellow for me but if I'd asked my sister to pick I know for certain she'd push me to go for the 'hot pink'!)

Less than 5 weeks before Bunny Boo arrives .... that also means just 5 more weeks left of catching those extra 15 minute snoozes and no laps!

CLOSED:Timex's E-Tide Temp Compass (Festive R&G)

I've always been very partial to Timex watches. One of my favorite watches back in India was a sturdy, simple looking Timex watch. I've dropped it several times, it has fallen into water on accident on more than one occasion, it has collided with several hard surfaces BUT it remained a faithful time informant for over three years. I still have the watch with me here and the only reason I don't wear it is the battery has died out on me and I personally don't want to entrust my watch to any of the stores to open out only because I'm sentimentally very attached to it and only trust a small local watch repair chap back at home. (Crazy.... but then that's me!)

That being said, I'm always game to try out any Timex product only because I've personally experienced a great product and know that this is a brand I've been satisfied with. This time round though, it was Hubby who was given the opportunity to review a watch from Timex's Outdoor and Expedition line.

Take a look at Timex's multi functional E-Tide Temp Compass watch...

If your husband/fiance/son/relative/friend is an outdoorsy type of guy who loves an adventure and really gets into a lot of activity...well then the E-Tide Temp Compass is just the watch for him. It can
  • Tell the time (I'm sure you knew that already!)
  • Help you read the time in darkness with the 'INDIGLO night light with night mode' feature. (This is not very sharp unlike some watches that really light up...you would need to put a little effort into reading the time in the dark)
  • Display the date
  • Tell you the temperature outdoors
  • Point you in the right direction with its compass feature
  • Even measure air and water temperature.
  • Tell you whether you're up for a high tide or low tide situation.
  • Stay protected in water (supposedly water resistant for upto 100 meters...we're not bold enough to leave the watch immersed in water for a long interval of time!)

Here are some additional product features to absorb...

I scored some brownie points with this watch and though Hubby may never use the tide measurement functions nor the compass functions on a daily basis, I do know he is satisfied with the watch overall.

Remember..it may take a little time and fiddling around to get used to all the functions but once you figure out how to use all the little knobs, you're ready to do more than just tell the time!

Buy it:

Timex's E-Tide Temp Compass watch retails for 170 US$ online and is eligible for free shipping to your doorstep. You can also locate this product in a store near you.

Here's how you can win it:

One reader will win their very own Timex E-Tide Temp Compass watch.
