CLOSED: Zutano....C.T.Q. Clothing for Children. (+ 75$ Gift Certificate Giveaway)

*Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

I've dressed Bunny girl in Zutano and Bunny Boo in Itzy Bitzy and honestly I'm a Happy Momma when it comes to these two brands.
To put it simply, the clothes are "C.T.Q." ....

Comfortable

Trendy

and High Quality.
(Oh yes, 100% superior cotton. Love it!)

The Buzz:

Twenty two years ago, Zutano launched their baby collection with just 4 styles and 6 colors. Today they boast of a diverse collection of 100% cotton clothing for children, in over 90 solids, dots, patterns, ginghams and stripes. Fabric options have now also grown to include Cozie fleece, French Terry and many Woven options.

Each piece is created to reflect expression, style and uniqueness of the young wearer.

E.B. Mommy's Report:

We were sent a piece from the new line that will come out in the Spring and once again I have to rave about the quality of the fabric.

This is one set that I can dress Bunny girl in to play outdoors, stay cool and yet protected from the sun. The overall look is "happy" and radiates Spring all over.
Now even though I am more partial towards Zutano's dresses I will admit that Zutano is Zutano.
You can't but help love whatever they bring out!

Win it:

One reader will have the opportunity to win a 75 US$ Gift Certificate that may be used towards anything in the Zutano Store.

CLOSED: Ooh La La! ...A Baby Bunch Bouquet! (+Christmas Carnival Giveaway #29)

This post is a 'Christmas Carnival' feature...The Carnival of Giveaways (or should I say Christmas prezzies?) on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from November 1- December 5 2010.
For a list of all the live giveaways visit 'The Christmas Carnival Center'

* Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

I love that Bunny Boo is growing and even though he just turned 6 months old, he does need to wear clothes for 6-9 month olds to be comfortable. This also means he can't fit into clothes from The Baby Bunch...((BAWL!!)) and I love the fabric and comfort that his onesies and socks have provided even after several washes.

Sadly all the products in their collection cater to the 0-6 months size but on the flip side, my girlfriends who've just had babies are excited that they will be recipients of 100% cotton products that are that notch above what we'd say is great stuff! (If you've missed my earlier Baby Bunch posts....you've missed a lot especially if you have a little one in the 0-6 mos bracket!).

Well, not being a company to be outdone, The Baby Bunch has created this gorgeous Winter Bunch Bouquet.

No ofcourse they have gone into the floral business!
They've just created flowers out of baby essentials!

That's right the white roses are respectively made with
  • A bib
  • A hat
  • One pair of mitts
  • Two pairs of socks
  • One long sleeve romper suit and
  • One long sleeve one piece.
Our good friends are having their first baby in December. Mommy and Daddy-to-be know they'll soon be welcoming a little Princess into their lives, so we're thrilled that we can send them this unique baby gift to help celebrate the little one's anticipated arrival and shock them into learning that they can actually use the 'roses' once baby arrives!

Buy it:

You can buy a Winter Bunch bouquet for 59.95 US$.

CLOSED: Soft, Natural Clothing....Bamboosa (+Giveaway)

* Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

You all know I have a thing for organic cotton especially when it comes to my little ones, so here's another discovery of mine....Bamboosa.

Bamboosa uses USDA certified bamboo that is grown in OCIA certified farms in China. Now that's a mouthful to say but to put it very simply, the cotton used in the clothes manufactured by Bamboosa is chemical free and safe!
The fabric is also naturally anti-static, hypoallergenic, thermal regulating and odor resistant. Impressive, right?
They even have a line just for babies called Bamboo Baby that carries hooded towels, baby blankets, baby gift sets and these printed tees....

Bunny Boo was sent this cute Panda Cub tee and these matching Bamboo pants

Both are a blend of naturally thermal regulating 70% Viscose from organic bamboo and 30% cotton.
The set is comfortable and even after a wash the colors remain bright and untouched.
I love the quality and my little man looks adorable in it.
Would I recommend Bamboosa for baby clothes?...Definitely, without any hesitation!

Buy it:

You can buy the Panda Cub tee for 17 US$ and the Bamboo pants for 20 US$

CLOSED: The Baby Bunch now sells 'Crayons'!! (+Giveaway)

* Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

First we had eggs and then the cupcakes. Hasn't The Baby Bunch wow-ed us enough already?
Apparently not!
With the kids going back to school next month, they thought they'd sell us some 'Crayons' now!

Take a look at this super-size box of 'Crayons'...

Now this I like!

Available in three gender neutral colors (red, green and orange), these organic cotton rompers have been sized to fit any 3-6 month old.

Bunny Boo wears his organic onesies regularly and I can tell they're comfortable. Without any hesitation I can vouch that these rompers will be worn with the same comfort. I love the soft cotton feel that's especially great for his tender skin during this awfully hot summer period.

So there you have it. Creativity reigns once again in The Baby Bunch camp!

School starts soon...don't forget the 'crayons' for baby too!

CLOSED: Sound Sleeping with Naturepedic (+Giveaway)

* Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

It all began when Barry Cik was on the hunt for the perfect crib mattress for his grandson. His hunt alarmed him when he realized there wasn't a single crib mattress in the market that was latex free, nylon free, chemical free, vinyl free, wool free and waterproof. Thus came the birth of Naturepedic, the first AND only mattress company that boasts of a mattress profile that's 100% natural, 100% non toxic and 100% organic.

We were given a regular crib mattress prior to Bunny Boo's birth but after I read about Naturepedic I knew we had to make the switch. Our little one's bed now cradles a Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Ultra mattress.

The mattress is
  • Made from 100% organic cotton and not a patch of vinyl, pvc or polyurethane foam.
  • Coated with a polyethylene coating that helps keep the mattress protected incase liquids are spilt on the mattress or a little someone has a 'potty accident' in his/her sleep.
  • Well padded with unbleached, undyed organic cotton. I love how comfortable the mattress is even though it is nice and thick. As always when you need a ruler to check dimensions you never to seem to find one, thus I used 2 goodies from my kitchen pantry....a Nestle tin of cream and a Nestle tin of condensed milk. Yes, the mattress is actually as thick and padded as both tins placed on top of each other!

  • Supported with a heavy duty orthopedic innerspring and coupled with the firm flat mattress surface. It provides the ideal setting for sound, healthy sleep especially for a young one's tender body.
  • Perfect to combat a child's allergies as it comes with a dust mite barrier cover and is not made with any wool or latex.
  • Covered with a fire protection system that has been tested and proven not to burst into flames or emit any deadly chemicals if in the eventuality that it does catch fire.
Yes, the Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Ultra mattress is more expensive than a regular mattress but I'd rather invest in a healthier alternative for my child than spend lower for a regular mattress and later find that my little one is not comfortable on his/her mattress or has begun to manifest symptoms of dust allergies.

This has been designed and tested by pediatricians, orthopedic specialists, chemists and engineers and has also won several awards for being an outstanding baby product. Besides being organic, I love the fact that it's also waterproof, making this Mommy give the No Compromise Organic Cotton Ultra mattress a big thumbs up plus when your little ones sleeps sound on the same, why should you consider otherwise?

Buy it:

You can buy a Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Ultra mattress for 359 US$. (It comes with a 30 day Money Back guarantee.)

Win it:

One reader will have the opportunity to win a Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Ultra mattress.

CLOSED: The Baby Bunch Organic Cupcake Onesies(+Giveaway)

* Click here to view the name(s) of the winner(s)*

If you were taken up with The Baby Bunch's Easter Nest then I have to tell you that those 'creative eggs' were only the ribbon that ties the Pandora Box of creative goodies The Baby Bunch has to offer Mommies and Babies!

What would you say if you got this in your mail?
A box of four cupcakes?

Oopsy! Nothing edible in there! Those supersized cupcakes are in actuality four Organic Cupcake Onesies.
Now how creative is that?....Complete with a 'strawberry motif sprinkle' and a cupcake liner!

The onesies are cupcake molded just by a few twists in the fabric and held in place with 'non adhesive trace leaving' tape.
The little strawberries can also be taken off and you won't find any adhesive marks on the onesie.

Each onesie is made from 100% soft organic, unbleached and undyed cotton onesies sized for an infant from 0-6 months (or upto a maximum weight of 16 lbs)

Now wouldn't you say this would make an awesome, gender neutral baby shower gift?

Baby Bounty Bash- Organically Grown (Review only)

This post is a 'Baby Bounty Bash' feature...The Online Baby Shower Extravaganza on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from March 25- May 5 2010.

For a list of all the live giveaways visit 'The Junction'

Safe, stylish, high quality and eco-conscious products is what you will find in the Organically Grown online store.
Making an impact in the market with their organic products, this company, though new, has been spreading roots with their 'Go Green' message through their apparel, infant accessories and home decor.

Organically Grown has some of the sweetest infant wear around.....

I love the little 3 piece 'Take Me Home' set Bunny Boo was sent and I have kept this aside as the the little set he will leave the hospital in.

This 100% organic cotton (Yay for organic cotton! Great feel to the fabric and the safer alternative, minus the use of harsh chemicals, not just for Bunny Boo but the environment too.) set includes an 'Organic Baby' embroidered bodysuit, an embroidered hem pull on pant and

a white snap on jacket with embroidered hems and three adorable embroidered lamb motifs. Now all I need to look for is a matching little head warmer and then I'm all set to put this away in my hospital bag!

Organically Grown also has recently added a toddler line to their collection

I'm hoping this line will soon expand to include overalls for the boys and pretty spring/summer dresses for the girls.

What's unique about Organically Grown is that all their products are recyclable, renewable and biodegradable...thereby making a statement on how important it is to go the 'Organic' way.

Buy it:

CLOSED: Baby Bounty Bash - Barley & Birch (+Giveaway)

This post is a 'Baby Bounty Bash' feature...The Online Baby Shower Extravaganza on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from March 25- May 5 2010.

For a list of all the live giveaways visit 'The Junction'

Kyle and Jodie have brought to the table a combination of talent, environmental consciousness, quality cotton organic fabric and social standards through their Barley & Birch line of 'unabashedly organic, planet-saving clothes'.

All their lap tees, onepieces, tees, tanks, pants and hats have three things in common. They're all made
  • In the USA
  • With 100% certifiable organic cotton fabric
  • With water based, toxin free inks
To put it simply, Barley & Birch's 'green kids-wear' do not pollute the earth or water and do not expose farm workers to toxins.'

Unlike most organic cotton onepieces I have come across, I personally felt Bunny Boo's lion onepiece was made with a thicker more durable cotton.

The onepiece we received was a long 6-12 mos piece and I'm estimating Bunny Boo would be able to wear this through a few months into his 1st year too.

The onepieces are available in these sizes: 3-6mos, 6-12mos, 12-18mos and 18-24mos

Buy it:

You can buy
a Barley & Birch organic onepiece/tee for 32 US$ online or from these stores
