We all know how time has become the essence and how many times we complain that we wish we had more time during the day to get things done. Cleverly Gifted was created to offer busy individuals a place to discover thoughtful, original gifts at a reasonable price, delivered in a way you’d love to do yourself if only you had the time. It's a site where you can shop for stuff for any of the special women in your life...be it your Mom, Grand-mom, Sister or Wife.

I couldn't have described the 'Pandora's box of gifts', that you can find as you click through the various 'Celebrate' tabs, better than Cleverly Gifted They've aptly summarized the gist of their portfolio in ten words! ...

"Unique, thoughtful gifts celebrating the amazing women in your life"

That's right!
Even if you are at a loss at deciding what your need for your cousin's baby shower or for your best friend who just found out she's expecting a precious little bundle, then Cleverly Gifted has 32 great options under their Celebrate Life-Baby segment.

Bunny Boo was sent a Bamboo blanket gift set that is the perfect baby gift for any newborn, with a 30 x 34" swaddle blanket, socks and a head-warmer, all made from bamboo.

If you never want to make a mistake while buying baby stuff for a shower, always go organic and as natural as possible. 95% of this gift set has been made from Bamboo. Bamboo baby apparel and accessories are great as the bamboo used is generally pesticide free and the fabric is hypoallergenic.

He was also sent a pack of Trumpette Johnny's high top socks.

Isn't this simply adorable? For the first three months we can use these and not even need shoes to dress up his tiny little feet. I'm in love with these sporty looking socks and love that they come in all the right colors!

These are 80% cotton, 20% nylon.

Now Mommy was sent a treat too. (Yay!)
I was sent this elegant Dwell Studio Chocolate Polka Dot diaper tote that passes off for a regular tote and perfect with its subtle color. (Yes I love 'mousey' colors, so am thrilled that is a chocolate shade!)

I can't say this can replace a regular diaper bag as you can carry immediate essentials and not really your baby's entire 'must-needs' as it would make the tote look unappealingly bulky.

This does come with a changing pad and a wipes case and before you ask, yes this is lined with waterproof material.

I love the central divider zip in pouch that can hold all the Mommy essentials and though this is a more compact 'baby stuff bag' it does a good number of pockets to hold baby bottles, toys and other 'musts'.

I also find the outer sling pouch very unique as you can stash away baby's blankie while moving from point A to point B and not worry about stuffing it into the tote.

This 6"x12"x6" chic tote will definitely be my companion to church once Bunny Boo arrives!

CLOSED: Baby Bounty Bash - Belle Baby Carrier (+Giveaway)

This post is a 'Baby Bounty Bash' feature...The Online Baby Shower Extravaganza on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from March 25- April 25-2010.

My name is Marina and I carried my daughter everywhere I went.....
and will carry my son everywhere I go.

It's true. Even though we didn't have a baby carrier for Bunny girl, she was always being carried, cuddled and hugged. Yes it does get to be more strenuous as 'baby' grows but I honestly believe the bonding and security that comes out of it is so worth the 'weight'!

I'm glad I'm all set for Bunny Boo with 2 carriers now and yes, I would prefer we carry him around everywhere than place him in his infant car seat and carry that around. (Except ofcourse if he's asleep and comfy in there!) I have to admit though that not all baby carriers are user friendly, I can affirm that the Belle Baby Carriers are definitely made for easy baby wearing!

Belle Baby Carriers are suggested for infants weighing between 8-30lbs. They are lightweight, sturdy, comfortable (both for Mommy/Daddy/the Baby wearer and Baby) and easy to slip on and off, while holding an infant in hand.

These ergonomically designed, 'baby-safe' and 'wearer-supported' baby carriers have been designed by 2 Daddies with a design and engineering background - Seth Murray and Mark Le Beau.

A Belle Baby Carrier is designed with :
  1. Cross over straps with high ended close cell foam for comfort
  2. Nylon buckles and webbing common to high end mountaineering backpacks
  3. Independent waist-belt to rest the weight on the wearer's hips and not shoulders. Steel rings and a rubber pad help secure the waist-belt.
  4. A natural ergonomic design to support baby sitting facing inwards or out. Light padding near the leg also facilitates comfort for baby.
  5. Comes with a removable head support to cradle a sleeping infant's little head.

I also love the chic, 'easy to work into one's wardrobe' fabric options in the line. I opted for the Organic Sand Belle Baby Carrier for 2 reasons-
  1. The carrier is made from 100% organic cotton, undyed hemp blended fuzzy fleece and undyed Romanian hemp canvas. (Hemp is a soft durable and strong fiber cultivated from the woody interior of the plant's stalk and under the outer most part of the bark)
  2. The neutral color will blend well with both Bunny Boo's wardrobe and mine (I love that the color is soft and mellow and not a loud and 'look I'm here' shade.) and the light shade makes it easier for me to make out when its time to get the carrier washed, cleaned and sanitized!

All Belle Baby Carriers are easy to maintain and can be either hand washed or machine washed without the concern of colors running or fading over time.

Buy it:

You can buy
your own Organic Sand Belle Baby Carrier for 109.95 US$ (+shipping) online or from these retailers.

CLOSED: Baby Bounty Bash - Kalencom Diaper Bag (+ Giveaway)

This post is a 'Baby Bounty Bash' feature...The Online Baby Shower Extravaganza on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from March 25- April 25-2010.

With a 60,000 sq ft facility in New Orleans, a 62,000 sq ft plant in Mississippi, 5 extensive manufacturing plants in Asia and other sub contracted manufacturing facilities in the US and around the globe, Kalencom has globally impacted the market, since it's creation in 1971.

Though it houses 4 divisions within its name, Kalencom's trump card lies with its Diaper Bag division.

When I asked to pick the diaper bag of choice, for this review, I was immediately drawn to the simplicity of the Multitasking bag.

This 17" (l) x 4.50" (w) x 14" (h) chocolate (with light blue piping) bag, with a long adjustable shoulder strap, personifies youthfulness and practicality.

Allow me to give you a quick, should we say, 'tour' (?) of my bag, just so that you know how many things I can (and intend to) put into my bag.

The mini satchel pocket in the front is perfect to store my mobile phone

In the side compartment segment side above the mini satchel pocket, I plan to hold baby's 'cover up blanket'.
(I know it would be better to store this inside but this is a convenient place to pull the same out when required, or stash the same away especially when running around for errands)

I've still not thought of what I could store inside the higher 2 side segments. Don't want to 'bulk up' the bag unnecessarily.

The insides have the space required to store burp cloths, 2-3 extra change of clothes, a mini towel, a toy or two and other musts.
I actually wish the additional 2 side segments, on the outside, were placed inside the bag as it would help me compartmentalize what I need to store and carry for baby, in a more organized manner.

Now I'm the queen of loose change.... hopefully this mini inner pocket will store all the 'shinies' safely!

The bag comes with a mini 'Emergency Care Card' which lists out contact names, phone numbers and 'baby info' that would be required in case an emergency arises. (God forbid.)

The bag also comes with :
  • A good sized changing sheet that you can place over those 'icky' changing tables in the stores or other public restrooms, that can be cleaned out easily with disinfectant wipes and
  • A little pouch to store diapers and travel pack wipes.
Now this is one of my favorite parts of the bag...
the insulated toggle pouches on either side of the bag, to keep baby's bottle feeds nice and warm.

And here's another favorite...
adjustable hooks to hang the bag onto baby's pram/stroller.

(Woo-hoo! Don't have to carry the heavy bag around all the time!)

And finally, there's a long pocket segment right above the 'pram hook-ups' that you can store anything else you want.
I think I'd hold my Bible in here for when we go to church or some magazines to read while waiting for a Doctor's appointment. (Now we all know how long those waits can get!!!....Oh boy!)

Its neutral look allows it to be used as a cute Messenger bag even after baby grows and the color goes well with practically any outfit. (Looks really cute when paired with jeans especially.)

Oh yes, the Kalencom designers chose well.
This bag definitely lives up to its name.....
the 'Multitasking bag'!

You can buy
your own Kalencom multi-tasking diaper bag for 70 US$.
