I am totally pro co-sleeping. We've seen the benefits this has had with Bunny girl and without an inkling of doubt, knew that this was what we wanted to do with Bunny Boo. It was naturally a blessing when we were sent the Summer Infant Rest Assured Sleeper for review.


The Summer Infant Rest Assured Sleeper is, to put it simply, a mini bed for your infant that may be placed upon your bed to allow for safer co-sleeping. It's held together by a sturdy metal frame and surrounded by mesh netting to allow air circulation. The features only begin here..

• It has a reticulated Aircare foam pad that allows for breathability
• A removable washable pad
• It's collapsible, making transportation and storage from room to room or while traveling easy.
• The Summer Infant Rest Assured Sleeper even comes equipped with an electronics unit that plays 4 melodies, 2 nature sounds, 1 womb sound (Seriously!) and also has 2 levels of vibration to lull baby to sleep.
• It also comes with a nightlight that can be adjusted to 5 intensities of light
• It includes a 5 minute timer and
• A pocket to hold diapers, wipes and other necessities you may require for baby during the night
  

I have to admit that we're yet to attach the electronics unit and try it out with Bunny Boo in the Sleeper (We don't want him to get dependent on needing music or a vibration to fall asleep) but even minus the same, once swaddled up and fed, he's all set for night-night!

I would definitely recommend getting one of these especially if you'd like to co-sleep with your precious little bundle!

In Store Events hosted by BabiesRUS and ToysRUS

I've always read about the instore events hosted by BabiesRUS and ToysRUs but never did push myself to attending any of them till last weekend.

I think seeing the ticker on my blog announcing Bunny Boo will be here in less than 10 weeks, motivated me to go and attend the 'Super Baby Shower' event at our local BabiesRUs store.

I was at the event for less than 2 hours and enjoyed re-learning the benefits of breastfeeding, methods etc shown via a video sponsored by Medela and making some new 'Expectant Mommy' friends.

I think what was most fun was getting to be a part of the fun Baby Shower games they held. I even had my tummy measured and here's my official announcement....Bunny Boo and I measure 17 toilet paper roll squares, all the way around!

You know what the icing on the cake was?
The prizes!!
God was so good....My name was picked out of the hat to win the Grand Prize - a Babyganics Hand Hygiene kit- AND I even got a pack of cute 'BabiesRUs' onesies. (Woo-hoo! Happy Dance!!)


So do check the BabiesRUS and ToysRUs site to see if there's a local event that interests you. You can be assured of learning something useful and maybe, just maybe even walk away with some goodies!!
