It all began in the humble beginnings of a small retail store in Virginia in the year 1980. It took a while and a lot of narrowing down and scratch offs before we (yes, Hubby had to be roped into the decision making process) finally decided that we'd choose the Classic Table Lamp with a sage fabric swatch to bring a little light (and life) into a specific corner in our living room.


I have to admit that I was a little worried that the shade would come in dented but the team at Plow & Hearth ensured both came intact when they packed and paper packaged the stand and the shade in separate boxes.

I'm thrilled with our pick as the lamp looks much more subtle and elegant than the picture on the site and has just filled in the emptiness that specific segment in the room once had.

I've worked with the Plow & Hearth extensions on earlier occasions and each instance I've noted quality in the products I've received, promptness in delivery, great customer service and the readiness to help find a solution to any problems I've had.

Can you say this?

Ok. So I'm officially into " Relax. It's the weekend. Cruise!" mode. Was sitting at the comp thinking of what I wanted to do next and I thought of some tongue twisters we used to say as kids. Ofcourse now that I am older it has become easier to get these to roll off my tongue so I decided I needed a challenge and boy you really do need to try the last one out BUT NOT before you try out the others. Remember to say these really fast and say each sentance 3 times.

Pilot post...hope I steer ok!!!

The butterflies in my tummy coupled with a rush of adventure tell me I'm feeling what I did when my Bunny girl entered the world in the midst of those crazy birth pangs.....the same feeling I had walking down the aisle...and definitely the same feeling I had when my Prince popped the question to beat all questions! Finally the day has arrived and FINALLY I have decided to........BLOG!!!

Now that I've decided to blog...what should I blog about?.....(Doesn't the title say it all?)....right! My darling Energizer Bunny, who just turned 3 last week. Time flies and what better place to record Bunny reports than on my very own "Bunny Blog"!

Let me start by introducing myself, the author of this blog......I've just hit my 30s and feel being 20 was oh so cool....but 30 is another story.....suddenly you are considered one of those "oldie goldies" and even people 3 years younger than you call you "AUNTY" (The ultimate chillipowder on an open wound tag!). We're based in a quiet city in the US and have been here for less than 2 years now. (We're originally from the most beautiful and culturally diverse Nation of all.....Hamara Bharath Mahan...India!!)

Join me as I take you through my life as a Stay at Home Mommy blessed with a wonderful caring Hubby and a precious little Energizer Bunny daughter. (For privacy reasons my daughter will not be referred to by name but as "Bunny girl" and my beloved as my dear "Hubby". )

Times of encouragement as I reflect on God's goodness in my life
