There's no point in struggling to breastfeed your baby in public...thanks to insightful companies like Expressiva you can buy clothes that don't look like burlap sacks but are actually very practical, fashionable and yet have your secret little openings that help you nurse your baby comfortably AND discretely.

Expressiva carries a line of tops, dresses, intimate wear, organic clothing, accessories and even swim wear that make your pregnant body/post pregnancy bumps look flattering and still feel comfortable to wear.

I was sent an Easy Empire Organic Cotton top just before Christmas. (I have to admit I never have had a designated 'Nursing Top' when I had Bunny girl. Thus I've hidden in many places to try and feed my poor, hungry baby.)

Needless to say, I was excited to try on the top immediately and then decided I'd try wearing it when we had some friends over, just to see if I'd have this mental block that broadcast "Eeeps, I'm wearing a Nursing Top...I'm sure it's obvious!"

Well guess what? My beautiful red organic top not only felt like I was wearing my own skin but it also draped beautifully over my bump and pockets of 'pregnant' flesh! It had the baggy, roomy feel but at no point did it give me the 'sack' look nor was it unflattering.

Not only did I overcome my block of confidently walking out with a nursing top but I also realized that this won't be the last top I buy before Bunny Boo arrives. The secret nursing flaps will make it so convenient to nurse Bunny Boo and I won't have to feel awkward trying to struggle any more! (Thank God for small mercies! )
