Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake baker's man
Bake me a cake that's yummy and grand
It should taste freshly baked yet not the regular Christmas fare
Can you make one extra special and take up this dare?

...And if you listen really carefully I'm sure you will be able to hear a chorus of bakers from Bake Me A Wish shout out "Sure we can!"

Bake Me A Wish is the creme de la creme of online cake shops that operates out of good ol' New York!

Want to use a little imagination and imagine what these scrumptious goodies would taste like?

Mmmm......Tiramisu Classico, Harvest Spice, Vienesse Coffee cake with walnuts, Brownie cake....Mmmmm. I love the exquisite flavors and the fact that it can be ordered from home and sent to any destination in the US ...what a lovely Christmas treat!

We were sent a beautifully packaged Chocolate Mint Chip cake, that is described thus..."cool peppermint meets chocolate brownie, thickly blanketed with smooth and creamy fudge frosting and covered with an avalanche of mint chips and bittersweet chocolate shavings"

The cake was rich, fresh and amazingly not sickeningly sweet but the fusion of all the unique flavors just partied on our palettes and even pushed Hubby dear (who will take a teeny weeny slice of other frosted cakes) to ask for a second slice. We were in cake heaven!!!

The cake arrived bang a day before my Mommy arrived and strangely enough a day before my birthday (Bake Me A Wish had no idea their timing worked out beautifully but all I can say is "Thank You Lord...You did it again!") What a treat!

Before I tell you about how one of you can win this chocolate mint delight you really need to read about this great program Bake Me A Wish has put together called Operation: Birthday Cake . 5% of every cake sale goes towards this program wherein cakes are sent to military personnel who are serving in Afghanistan and Iraq, on or close to their birthdays. A small step on their part but one that has played an enormous role in keeping the spirits high if the valiant men and women stationed abroad. (Take a look at how these cakes have brought sunshine into the lives of these heroes.)

Buy it:

The delicious Chocolate Mint Chip cake we enjoyed can be bought for 34.99 US$ from the online cake shop. You can choose from a variety of other cakes this festive season. Bake Me A Wish cakes range in price from 20$ -70$.
