In a day and age where people are not careful about how they manage their finances, we as parents have a moral responsibility to bring up our children with strong foundational values concerning finances. Three Cups is a book that will help you do just that.

Mark St. Germain grasps the young reader in a simple but engaging manner, opening the story with a present received by a little boy on his 5th birthday...one that will change his life forever.

Based on Tony Townsley's story, this book teaches a child "that it is not how much money you have that is important but it's how you use it." This is beautifully explained with the help of 3 cups, each to hold your child's segmented weekly allowance,
  • A cup for saving
  • A cup for spending and
  • A cup for charity.
I love this book and sincerely desire in my heart to introduce Bunny girl (and later Bunny Boo) to the concept of the 3 cups. Bunny girl turns 4 several weeks from now and I think this would be a good time to begin giving her a weekly allowance perhaps for doing little chores (not sure yet) and give her the gift of the '3 cups'.

This is definitely a book that will make a great birthday, Christmas or special occasion present for a child 4 years and above. It's an investment you will not regret.
