CLOSED: Lauren Playset & Book from Paddywhack Lane (Christmas Carnival Giveaway #44)

This post is a 'Christmas Carnival' feature...The Carnival of Giveaways (or should I say Christmas prezzies?) on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from November 1- mid December 2010.

Paddywhack Lane is a collection of heartwarming, inspirational stories, high quality, role play toys, gifts and music for young children that parents can feel good about giving to their children. And if your child loves pretend play with little toys/characters, then a Paddywhack Lane Playset is just what you need to pick up this Christmas.

We received Lauren's Wildflower Garden Playset that includes includes adorable hand painted, poseable figure Lauren, her ladybug costume complete with ladybug wings, her pet bunny, 3 clay pots and flowers, dirt for planting, a watering can, rake and shovel, bag of seeds and a wheel barrow for pretend gardening!

The set also includes the fold out play scene for added imagination.

The quality of the little pieces and cute button nosed Miss Lauren gets a perfect score. I love that the little character has movable limbs and comes with accessories to complete the 'story setting'! You can even buy Paddywhack buddies minus the Playsets to keep Lauren company.

Now you all know I'm big on books for kids and the very fact that you can buy a book to go along with a Playset just rates big time on my list of scores.

In 'Lauren and the Leaky Pail' everyone wants to win first prize in the year's gardening contest. Lauren would love to win too, but you can't expect to grow something wonderful with an old, leaky watering pail...or can you? Even after her friends offer hilariously, silly solutions to plug the leaks, Lauren remains unflappable in her mission to make sure her seeds have the water they need to grow.

This is a lovely book to teach the young reader/listener how you can make things work irrespective how things look at first. Like Lauren, all that is needed is a generous serving of persistence, faithfulness and hard work.

This Christmas package is not just an entertainer but also and educator that truly embodies everything Paddywhack Lane stands for...“It’s What You Believe Inside That Makes you... You! The Outside is Mostly Fabrics and Stitching.”
So true.
