CLOSED: 'Smile Essentials' - Review and Giveaway

The winner's name has been announced on this post.

They always say you're never fully dressed without a smile. But what do you do when your smile is not something you are really confident about? Learn to smile with your lips pursed shut? That may work but for how long?

Any visit to a dentist will tell you that nothing helps better than a good toothbrush and a good toothpaste! Need a little more help in that department? Don't worry.....help is on the way....your "Smile Essentials" package is right here!!

For every stage of your life!!

Starting off with your Baby Orajel Teething Gel- a pediatrician recommended product to soothe your little ones gnawing irritation on his/her gums. The gel is available in a refreshing cucumber flavoring and to help relieve the sore spots, the gel is suggested to be used only after placed in the refrigerator and cooled.

Now that your little one has started 'sprouting' little teeth its important to start brushing his pearly whites even if he/she has just two! Cavities can develop even in baby's milk teeth if the right dental hygiene is not observed. (Yes these teeth are not permanent but why do you want to feel guilty later on when you see a little cavity popping up?!) Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Cleanser is the product you would want to use at this point. The tooth and gum cleanser is available in 3 baby yummy flavors- apple & banana, berry and mixed fruit. The toothbrush (We love Abby Cadabby!) that comes along with the cleanser and has soft bristles that are gentle when used on your child. Don't worry the cleanser IS fluoride free and totally safe for your child if swallowed. Remember this is the brand every pediatrician recommends.

Bunny girl would love using her Orajel toddler training toothpaste. (She loved it so much that it was actually hard to get her to switch to use the kiddies toothpaste. Fortunately we found a tube with a Disney Princess picture on and voila the switch over was a breeze!!) Berry blast was the toothpaste of choice always and she would willingly get her teeth worked on if the 'little bear toothpaste' would be used! Again this product is fluoride free and safe if your toddler accidentally swallows the same in the zeal of getting his/her teeth brushed.

(Orajel products are available in these stores)

As your child grows it's important you buy them the right toothbrush especially if you intend for them to properly brush their teeth on their own. Here are some 'must know' facts that have been published on the Arm & Hammer site:
  • It has been proven that kids brush their teeth 38% longer with Arm & Hammer's Spinbrush! (I didn't know that!)
  • Using a Spinbrush helps remove plaque, massage the gums and promote healthy brushing! (Wow!)
Bunny girl was sent the ice-cream handle kids Spinbrush. The product as a whole intrigued her and she loved that the bristles moved with the press of a button but unfortunately using the product on her teeth didn't go down too well with her because she actually has a very small mouth (Bunny girl is quite petite!). Once we put the Spinbrush in, we couldn't move it around as it was too big for her mouth. Poor baby looked like she had a massive lollipop stuck in her mouth that made a growling sound! I guess we'll need to try this out again when she's a little older and her mouth gets a little wider!
(Check out the website for some great Parents Tips and Kids Tips)

Hubby tried out the Spinbrush Pro Clean Sonic toothbrush and is in love! He says he feels the cleaning process is much more precise and he is able to clean the teeth way at the back much better. As per the product's description, the brush actually moves at 16,000 microsweeps per minute and is your solution to remove potential plaque...Oooooh!
(Take a look at this video to see how this Spinbrush actually works)

Finally my favorite- Arm & Hammer's Advance White Toothpaste I love that all Arm & Hammer toothpastes have baking soda in them. Baking soda is a proven cleansing agent that removes stains and cleans effectively and naturally. This is one reason I use Arm & Hammer toothpastes as one of my preferred toothpaste choices. If you haven't tried Arm & Hammer you really must, I know this product will not disappoint- I can vouch for that!

Now that you have your 'Smile Essentials' you are all set to walk down that path towards healthy, clean and shiny teeth. So the next time you hear say someone shout "Smile for the Camera", you can turn and flash those pearlies with all the confidence in the world!
