If had to describe Milson Road's Daily Portrait in just one word, I'll have to admit that I'd be at a loss for words. There isn't one word that can sum up how unique, classy, exquisite and unforgettable a gift of a Daily Portrait is.

This personalized commemorative, framed print captures and celebrates a milestone or special occasion within the context of the news of the day.
The perfect gift for a special birthday,


a wedding, a special anniversary,


a bar mitzvah, a graduation or the birth of a baby.


I was so blessed to be given the opportunity to build a Daily Portrait for Bunny girl and Bunny Boo. I didn't want to do the pink and blue highlights on their Portraits as I wanted them elegant enough to stylishly hang in their places of prominence on the walls of our living room.

For both, we opted for silver frames (Other frame options include Black, Golden, Walnut and White)


with silver commemorative plates with their names and dates of birth on the same.


The only difference in each Daily Portrait (Other than the customized content and photograph ofcourse)


was the color of the background mats.
(For Bunny girl we used the Gray Parchment and White while for Bunny Boo we picked Khaki and White)

I love the overall 'front page of the newspaper' look this one of a kind gift has. The top story for the day is the news of your little one's birth. (or your wedding/anniversary/child's graduation or bar mitzvah). The short news clip includes the child's date of birth, time of birth, birth weight and height, hospital name and the names of the parents and older siblings (if any). You can even include a picture taken at the time of your child's birth.


The rest of the Portrait includes the headline news featured on the day the child was born, the names of other celebrities who celebrate(d) their birthday on the same day, the financial news for the day, who was the US President at the time, what happened on that day in history et al.


On the top right hand corner of the Portrait, you can add the name of the gift giver.
(In our case we just put in our names, as parents.)


The whole process of personalizing the Daily Portrait and having the same delivered to your (or the gift recipient's) doorstep, complete with a Milson Road gift enclosure card with your personal greeting and wrapped in the signature Milson Road lavender gift band takes approximately three weeks.


Oh and lest you wonder if this is a small Portrait, think again! This measures 21.25" x 28.00 " in dimension and is worth every penny spent on the same.

Would I recommend a Daily Portrait without any hesitation?
You bet!
If you have saved a little money for a special prezzie, I would say this IS that prezzie!
