Little plastic 'baggies' seem to be the staple in every kitchen and whether we like to accept it or not, though it saves on washing plates, plastic food bags ARE a hazard to the environment and a waste of environmental resources.

Kelly Lester decided to play Green Mama and make a difference. She thus conceptualized Easy Lunch Boxes.

Not only is her Lunch box system more eco friendly and economical (not to mention easy to use) but it also helps you send a variety filled lunch to your kids at school or Hubby at work.

I know eating at school is an option but I personally don't think very much of some of the public school menus I've seen. I would, any day, prefer to send a home packed lunch for Bunny girl when she's old enough for regular school.

At work, too, Hubby carries a home cooked meal everyday for lunch. I know many of his colleagues pick up a fast food bag to save time but health wise, economics wise and nutrition wise I know my beloved has a better alternative in his lunch bag!

The compartmentalized lunch boxes are made from non toxic, food safe, BPA free and Phthalate free polypropylene that have cleared strict FDA requirements. (Click here to view the report)

I love that each 9.48" x 6.1" x 2" box can hold a good quantum of food to satisfy a hungry child/adult

and is safe for use in the microwave, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.

The 9" x 6.5"x6.5" cooler bags are insulated, non vinyl, lead free, durable and again, FDA compliant.

Available in 5 neutral colors, these roomy bags can hold a compartmentalized lunch box, a fruit(s) of choice and a 500 ml of water/a thermos/a juice box. You can even add an ice block to keep the bag's contents nice and cool.

Watch Kelly Lester demonstrate how useful the Lunch box system is in terms of environment consciousness, family health and convenience
