It's hard to explain to a preschooler why one alphabet can sound two different ways in different words. (For example C in Cat and Cycle). Pat Vining, a mother of 2 and an elementary school educator, saw the need to explain phonics to a child in an 'easy to remember' way that was fun. The Alphabotz was thus conceptualized!

The Alphabotz works around a simple concept that LETTERS equal SOUNDS, SOUNDS build WORDS and WORDS till amazing STORIES.

An 'Alphabotz' is a robotic character that represents a sound in the English alphabet. The little Alphabotz wears his/her distinctive sound on his/her chest, has his/own unique personality and has his/her pet loves....all centered around the alphabet sound he/she represents.

The Alphabotz works around every possible letter sound there could be in the formation of words.

We've been trying to teach Bunny girl the different letter sounds possible to help her learn, spell and form words. We haven't mastered all the letters yet but we're slowly getting there.

The Alphabotz cards are colorful, attention grabbing, easy to hold and laminated well. (Big plus especially if you have a juice spill while your little one looks through the cards during snack time!)

Repetitive use of the cards will slowly orient your child with the different possible sounds a single letter and various letter groups can have. This will slowly develop easy identification of letters and letter groups in Easy Reader books and when you play with alphabet fridge magnets to spell 3 letter words.

The Alphabotz has won the Gold winner in The Mom's Choice Awards, the Family Choice Award and the 2009 Addy Award for Best of Show Interactive. If you like spending time teaching your preschoolers even though they go to preschool or even if you home-school, I'd say getting a pack of Alphabotz cards is, without a doubt, a great learning tool.

These Super-phonic Decoder cards are great for children aged 3 years and older. To preview some Alphabotz fun click on these downloadable links.
