This is a lovely book to bring into focus the importance of giving amidst all the receiving, during all the Christmas excitement and fun.
I love reading the Berenstain Bears to Bunny girl and she loves all three books she owns so far. We can't wait to add this one to her collection this Christmas as a symbolic reminder of the 30 day giving challenge we've taken up as a family.

The Three Wise Guys Book Brief:

It’s time for the Christmas pageant again, which means it’s time to hide behind a chair and hope the Sunday school teacher doesn’t pick you to be Joseph. Laugh your way through all of the pageantry in this Pageant as Mike Thaler tells the story of Christmas in a way only a kid—or anyone who was once a kid—can understand.

You really should be atleast six to enjoy this book. The humor entwined in the child's narrative of the Nativity Play is what makes this book what it is. We've saved this book for Bunny girl's best friend who I know will be in splits when he reads this with his Mommy. (This book makes enjoyable reading even for an adult.)

17 Christmases Book Brief:

Journey all over America in this delightful full-color Christmas picture book written by award-winning author, Dandi Daley Mackall. 17 Christmases is a wonderful story about a young child’s Christmas road trip to see family and friends from Alaska to Maine and everywhere in between.
(Suggested age range:4-7)

This is such a cute book. The little boy travels to 17 States and gets to, therefore, celebrate 17 Christmases in each State! Finally they get back home to Kentucky and while he's reminiscing on all 17 Christmases, he remembers the 'Reason for the Season' and thanks God for Jesus and everyone in his family.
