A.B.E. Spotlight Feature #6: The Usbourne Lift The Flap Atlas

We had the opportunity to review the Usbourne Lift The Flap Atlas


This 16 paged board book with "lift up" flaps introduces your child to our wonderful planet full of beautiful buildings, exotic animals and fabulous sights .


E.B. Mommy's Report:

I love this engaging, concise yet information packed atlas that is by far one of my favorite children's Atlases so far.


Each page is packed with region specific facts, figures and interesting trivia that many of us, I'm sure, do not know.


The Atlas also includes a nice little surprise for the reader, in the inner pocket at the end of the same....


A large map of the world, complete with the flags of all the countries featured!

This would be a great map to frame and hang up in your child's room- a wonderful way to tickle his/her curiosity about different countries and their geography. It will also help him/her learn to identify a country just by looking at its flag.


I know this is an apt Atlas for the suggested age of a 6 year old but I do want you to know that your older preschooler will also be intrigued by the same.
Bunny girl loves looking through each flap and asking me questions about each place.
I find it's a great way for both of us to learn and get to spend some special Mommy-Dottie time together.
What a win-win situation!
