Your Little is Much! (Day 6 of Giving)

30-Day Giving Challenge

Earlier today I took Bunny girl to a classmate's birthday party and as always the children were most excited to see the Pinata set up. Thankfully Bunny girl doesn't like candy so scrambling for thrown candy is no 'biggie' for her. I love that the Mommy at this party ensured the pinata was filled with a pot pourri of fun stuff for the preschoolers (and yes a whole stash of candy too.).

When the Pinata popped, all the other kids got busy collecting fist-fulls of candy while Bunny girl daintily picked up a tiny toy car, 3 stencils, a tiny spinning top and a little plastic frog...carefully avoiding all the strewn candy. Happy with her 'spoils' she stood in line to march back indoors with her other little buddies. Before they moved, a little girl holding a bag of candy, standing in front of her, looked at Bunny girl's bag and squealed "Hey I didn't get that". I watched as Bunny girl stood quietly with her bag and after a while, opened the same, looked through her little treasures and then picked out one stencil and put it in the little girl's bag.

I know that it wasn't that big a deal but if you have a preschooler you'd know how hard it is to part with anything you picked from a Pinata blast. Bunny girl GAVE from her little....with all her heart.

When I got home, while I was thinking about Day 6 of the 30 Day Giving Challenge, I was reminded of the widow in Luke 21: 1-4

1 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, 2 and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. 3 So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; 4 for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God,but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”

Throughout this month, never hesitate to GIVE just because you feel you don't have enough to give. When you give from your little, with all your heart, God will use it for His Glory, to bless upon someone in need.

Remember your little is much, when you're giving with all your heart.

Be Blessed!
