They Are Precious In His Sight (Day 5 of Giving)

and today I'm honored to share with you a cause that our family has been supporting for the past two years. We are humbled to sow into this noble organization...the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital


There's so much to learn about St Jude's but if I share this excerpt from their Mission Statement, I know God will speak to your heart...

"St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay."

Isn't that awesome. NO child is ever denied treatment only because there are people around the world who sow into this incredible hospital.

I know a family from church who is testament of this.
Many years ago their 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer and at the time, financial resources were limited but St. Jude's took up this child and treated her as if she were just like any paying patient. They didn't close the doors because her parents didn't have the funds required nor did they just give up on her case because the cancer was fierce.
Praise God for God's work through them because today that child is a beautiful woman well past her twenties and is even the mother of a gorgeous baby girl....and yes she has been cancer free for over 2 and a half decades.
