CLOSED: Baby Bounty Bash - Guidecraft's Moon & Stars Carousel (+Giveaway)

This post is a 'Baby Bounty Bash' feature...The Online Baby Shower Extravaganza on Energizer Bunny's Mommy Reports from March 25- May 5 2010.

In 1964, Jason Fein's father produced 10 products in his woodshop and sold them successfully to the market. 46 years have passed since then and today the company, Guidecraft, is owned by Jason Fein and proudly boasts of 580 educational products, quality furniture and beautiful wood crafted pieces.

I chose to feature Guidecraft's Moon and Stars Media Carousel in the Baby Bounty Bash because I firmly believe the love for books can be introduced to very young infants. We'd read to Bunny girl even as she was a wee little baby and today it warms my heart to see her ravenously look through books.

The Guidecraft's Moon and Stars Media Carousel would make a lovely addition in your little one's nursery and/or the older sibling's room. The design is very gender neutral and the functionality is so 'child friendly'.

The Moon and Stars Carousel weighs 42lbs and has to be assembled from scratch.

All the parts are separately packaged and identifying the components to be out together is literally a breeze.

Certain parts are labeled for easy referencing and if you follow every step of the instruction sheet, you will be able to put it together without a single problem.

We started putting together Carousel with hubby's help but then he had to take several minutes off to answer a phone call. Bunny girl and I decided to attempt putting the rest of parts together and surprised ourselves!

Bunny girl helped screw on the colorful pillars and hand me the labeled dividers

while handled tightening the pillars, screwing in the wood colored dividers with the mini screw twister provided.
(The twister actually works well. Looks are deceptive but this really does what it has to!)

By the time Hubby got off his telephone call, Bunny girl and I had successfully managed to put everything together. We just needed help to turn the sturdy piece over and move it into Bunny girl's room.

Ta-dah!!!....Isn't this beautiful?

With all the books placed inside this definitely takes the prize for really bringing an additional punch into Bunny girl's room.

The top of the Carousel is now a resting place for one of her favorite plush animals, Shadow.

Just for your reference, Bunny girl's strong Moon and Stars Media Carousel can spin on its rotatable base and holds 175 books of varying sizes and in board book format, paperback and hardcover styles. Its stands at 31" h x 19.75" w x 19.75", in dimension.

I love walking into Bunny girl's room and finding my little reader sitting on her colorful mat, with a pile of books fresh off the Carousel, flipping through the pages in deep concentration.
