I love personalized anything....books, mugs, tees....anything! I always think nothing tugs at the heart strings more than a gift designed personally for someone special.

This Mother's Day, Cafe Press can be your design stop to create some great personalized gifts for Mommy from personalized mugs, aprons, calendars, totes and more.

What's fun is that you can custom design your very own Mother's Day gift using the Cafe Press design tools.

I created a cute Mommy's day tee for my Mom from her 2 grandkids and though I'd love to show you what I created, I will hold back as she is a faithful blog reader and I'd let the cat out of the bag then, so that will have to be under wraps.

If you aren't very adventurous or don't trust your design skills, you can choose from hundreds of pre-designed tees, aprons, totes and mugs.

Click on the thumbnails to view a larger image.

I can show you a tee I'd chosen last month for Bunny girl from the Cafe Press pre-designed tees, to wear when her little brother arrives.....

It was perfect, a little big in size though but my Princess walked around the house wearing it as a short dress for a while. I have washed the tee and can confirm after a run through the washing machine the inks haven't faded and the colors are still as bright.

As a Mother's Day promotion, the Cafe Press team have kindly offered one reader the opportunity to create a personalized apron or a personalized tee for your Mommy/Grandmommy for this Mother's Day.

Since this is a special giveaway this will be open for only 42 hours. (Ends May 5, 11pm CST) Rules for entering the same have been provided below.

Win it:

One reader will have the opportunity to win
a personalized apron or a personalized tee for your Mommy/Grandmommy for this Mother's Day.

Here's how you can win it:

1. Mandatory entry (without this, all other entries will be disqualified)-

Tell me a favorite memory you have with your Mom

2. Unlimited entries: (Only possible AFTER the Mandatory entry has been completed)

You can enter as many comments as you like AS LONG AS all comments relate to lessons you have learnt from your Mom or pearls of advice your Mom has given you over the years.

This giveaway is open to US Residents , 18 years and above. 1 winner will be chosen with the random.org generator on May 5th 2010 at 11 pm Central time.

My favorite memory is racing along at top speed when I was little and I would walk (?) with her to catch the bus to work during the summer. The bus stop was a mile away. I would meet her after work to walk home with her, too.

One of my favorite memories is my mom and I would sneek out to have lunch on our own at our favorite places. With 4 kids in the family I treasured the time with her.

My mom went blind when I was 4 yrs old. The earliest memories of her & me was when we'd go to this huge park with huge grassy hills & we'd climb to the top & roll all the way down together! She was constantly reading to me & in turn I then went on to read to her. Still have a love of reading that I have passed on to my 2 oldest daughters. Thank you for sharing this great giveaway with us!

My Mom has taught me the importance of letting your children spread their wings. She had a really hard time letting me move away to college, but she didn't give me a hard time about it because she knew it was best for me. I appreciate the sacrifice that this must have been now that I have a little girl of my own!
