1983 signified the birth of a new era in the life of Louis Premselaar. With a long family history in the toy business, he knew that just had to be the place he wanted to be in but there was one hitch. Louis wanted to create a niche of his own, a unique company with a difference, a company that kids would prefer. Finally, in 2002 along with Larry Allberg and Laura Perks that dream became a reality with the birth of Kids Preferred LLC.

I know you must be wondering where the 'unique' niche part plays in. Well, Kids Preferred LLC carries several allergy and asthma friendly toys. I'm not big on buying plush toys for newborns and infants but if they come with an allergy and asthma friendly seal of approval, I think I'd seriously reconsider my stand, especially if they had those "Buy Me!" eyes on that adorable Black Lab...wouldn't you?!

I was thrilled to learn we would have the opportunity to review and giveaway an Eric Carle product in our Baby Bounty Bash. To any book lover, that's a treat in itself!

Bunny Boo was sent the Very Hungry Caterpillar Bolster and though he won't be able to use it till he's close to 6 months and ready to sit with support, I was thrilled.

What a great way to influence a budding reader....in a support seat fashioned around the Very Hungry Caterpillar itself!

This 18" long firmly padded activity cushion has a lot of little odds and ends sneaked into its body to help instigate an infant's discovery instincts. Your little one can play with the caterpillar's crinkly ears, move beads along the ring, poke the squeaking strawberry and feel the different textures entwined around the caterpillar's body.

The Caterpillar Bolster also has a little cup holder to hold perhaps a bottle, sippy cup or even a tiny glass and a little pocket to house munchables. (snacks)

When your infant is younger and in that inquisitive phase, you can even hold over/ bring close the bright colored Bolster to allow exploratory play.

My only worry with this is ease in maintaining and cleaning the same. I think I'd stick to hand-wash scrubs to clean out mini accidents as I do want Bunny Boo to be able to enjoy his 'little Throne' for as long as he can.
