Leeana Tankersley's book Found Art journals her journey in 'discovering beauty in foreign places' with an emphatic foundation from the book of Ecclesiastes, with particular reference to the 3rd chapter.


I thoroughly enjoyed the book as I was able to visualize every step of Leeana's journey especially since the setting was so familiar as I've had the opportunity of visiting Bahrain on more than just one occasion.

She has written the book with such clarity that one is able to gauge her emotions of frustration, unhappiness and worry in each situation and also picture this lone foreign visitor on dune soils trying to bring familiarity, joy and love into her new surroundings.

Through it all , Leeana brings herself back into the center of God's fold to stay focussed in God's Plan for her life. Not heavily doused in Scriptural references or faith parallels, this book is a more conversational sort of book that can be read easily and will encourage anyone who finds themselves in an unfamiliar situation, trying to grasp at some strands of hope and purpose in it all.
