Go Fish!...Fun, Christian Music that won't drive you bonkers!! (Review Only)

Remember the rave 'MOM' song I posted on Mother's Day? Well, since our family loved the song so much I decided I'd research a little more on the singers and was thrilled to find that Jamie, Jason and Andy are more than just the Go Fish guys

...they are singers with a heart for kids, a passion for the Lord, a talent to bring bounce to a simple preschooler's song like the 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' and zeal to bring life to a Sunday School teaching on the 'Ten Commandments'!

Don't believe me? Watch this video....

Bunny girl and I have been having a blast listening to the cds and watching the dvds, Jason blessed us with ...

The Lets Sing dvd and the Go Fish Showtime dvd have upbeat versions of the Sunday School favorites like Lord I lift Your Name on High, the B-I-B-L-E, jesus Loves Me, This Little Light of Mine and I've Got The Joy. The guys are entertaining and funny but at the same time do their part of bringing home the message of the Bible in a way that is easy for a child (and adult) to grasp and absorb.

You can even pick up the Go Fish SuperStar cd and the Snazzy cd to play the Sunday School favorites in the car. Our top six favorite 'Sunday School songs with the Go Fish twist' from these two cds are, without a doubt...
  • The Ten Commandment Boogie
  • SkinnaMarinkyDinkyDink
  • Friends of Mine
  • Superhero
  • Bible Book Bop and
  • The MOM Song

The Go Fish guys have also released Party Like A Preschooler, a cd with preschooler favorites that's perfect to put on when you want to shake those limbs with your little one. I personally think the music is apt for a birthday party as each 'tiny tot' song is sung the 'jazzed up Go Fish' way and can really get your little ones to move! Popular numbers featured include
  • Do your ears hang low
  • John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt (Bunny girl loves this!)
  • If you're happy and you know it
  • The crazy dance
  • The laughing song and
  • Five little monkeys
(The only song I found a little out of place on the cd was the 'Its hard to be cool' song)

The only cd we're yet to review is Go Fish-Snow. Bunny girl's insistent we wait till its Christmas as it has all the Christmas specials....
  • We Three Kings
  • Joy to the World
  • The Little Drummer Boy and
  • Away in a Manger
I've sneaked little parts off the cd and would encourage you to get this cd even if it's just for these two songs- Christmas with a Capital C and It's All About the Cross.....totally worth it!

I personally think the Go Fish guys, bring to the plate, music that I'd want my kids to listen and sing along to. I love that they're a Christian group that have found a way to make Christian music fun for little ones and have even added spunk to those good ol' preschool oldies.

(And I think they've totally won my heart with their MOM song....so I'll vouch for this group anyday!)

Buy it:

You can buy your 1st Go Fish cd/dvd for 15 US$ and every additional cd/dvd thereafter for a discount of only 5 US$ each.

These Go Fish guys sound like so much fun! I bet my grandsons and my little nephew would totally love them.

Marina, I've been thinking about you and wanted to stop by and check on you. I couldn't remember when your baby is due. I've been so sick lately and just not able to keep up with everything. I hope I haven't missed the big day.

Stop by when you get a chance and let me know how you've been doing. In the meantime, I'll say a prayer for you and Baby Bunny Boo. ;0)

Go fish songs are simply awesome!! I heard their version of "Joy to the world" last Christmas at our church service and from then I became a big fan of their music! It's the songs we always loved singing with a slight twist---love'em!
