CLOSED: Xtrema's 10" openskillet (Festive R&G)

Need an 'Xtremely' durable skillet that's not only scratch proof but also non toxic? An alternative to replace your non stick skillets that after several uses slowly leach out unseen chemicals and scrape out the black coated cooking surfaces? Well, you don't have to wait any longer because here it is......

Xtrema's 10" open skillet!

The Xtrema 10" open skillet:
  • Is made from inorganic natural materials
  • Is coated with a ceramic glaze and NO harmful PTFE coatings. (No PTFE coating = no leaching of harmful toxins)
  • Can withstand high temperature. The coating will not burn or melt.
  • Can be used on the stovetop, broiler, barbecue grill and can be placed in the oven, microwave, dishwasher or even in the freezer and still look the same irrespective of where it has last been!!

Xtrema cookware is a safer, healthier alternative for our families. (You even have teaware and bakeware available.) It is a little more expensive but the price you pay is negligible when considering the overall benefits.

The first dish we attempted making in our Xtrema 10" open skillet was a yummy Indian chicken dish that required for the curry marinade to dry up to finally make delicious chicken kababs. The skillet needed a little while to heat up but once heated it was all set to cook!

(It's important you remember to heat your skillet on medium heat and once the skillet is heated, reduce the temperature and continue to cook your dish of choice. Unlike regular skillets, the Xtrema 10" open skillet holds in the heat for a longer period of time and you don't want your dish to overcook.)

The kabab curry took a little longer to dry up but the only motivator was in knowing that our family would receive food that was cooked in a research tested safe skillet!

(I took a back foot on non stick cookware the day I heard consistent use of non stick cookware results in surfaces slowly scraping out and over time toxic chemicals get released into the food cooked in the vessel. Healthwise this has proven to even result in cancer... how far this is true I have no idea but I'm not going to take a chance with my loved ones!)

Another plus point is the 10" open skillet is scratch proof. You can scrub away with steel wool and still have a smooth surface and not even a hairline scratch! (Yippee....no extra care required!)

I'm very satisfied with my Xtrema 10" open skillet and would suggest you try buying one of their products to see the results for yourself.

Oh my goodness. I have never heard of these before and got totally excited. I told hubby I have a bday coming up soon! LOL My request to him was the 5.5 Quart Sauce pot with lid. Oh the things I could do with that pot!
