Here's to you General Mills!!(Plus Limited Edition Cereal Packs at Target)

After my post last night about what General Mills is doing to help the Susan G Komen Foundation, I have to admit I have slowly developed a teeny weeny loyalty in cereals to the company. I still think donating 2 million 20 thousand US dollars (I do believe we can get that many comments on the community by October 31. Come on...we can make that difference!!) towards the cause for breast cancer is very moving and big on their part. So in my own little corner in the blogosphere, I hereby dedicate this day to General Mills.....Hear Ye, Hear Ye!!!

Oh and before this gets any later, I have to ask you to slip on those loafers and run down to your local Target to pick up your limited edition Mr Men/Little Miss General Mills Cereal packs.

MR MEN and LITTLE MISS??? Yes...Mr Men and Little Miss!! Remember these cute little characters?

5 Limited Edition General Mills Cereal boxes hold 5 Iron On Mr Men/Little Miss Characters on them. The official run of the promotion was from October 4-17th, I found out about this much later into the promo and planned to blog about this around the 15th but then thanks to the flu visiting our home, you know I was MIA.

These are the boxes you will need to look out for:

• Cocoa Puffs (for the Mr Messy Iron On)
• Cinnamon Toast Crunch (for the Little Miss Sunshine Iron On)
• Honey Nut Cheerios (for the Mr Strong Iron On)
• Cookie Crisp (for the Little Miss Chatterbox Iron On) and
• Lucky Charms (for the Mr Happy Iron On)

Our family is very loyal to Honey Nut Cheerios and can live off that for breakfasts on end BUT I love Little Miss Sunshine and Little Miss Chatterbox (Yay they featured both my favorites!!)


Thankfully General Mills, sent us all 5 Limited Edition boxes of cereal to sample (plus a white T shirt to iron on our favorite transfers.... I plan to iron on a Little Miss Sunshine and a Little Miss Chatterbox on 2 separate T Shirts for Bunny girl. Why? Because she has stolen the position of family chatterbox from me and she brings so much sunshine into our lives....it's true!) so I don't have to worry about buying 2 boxes of cereal that we don't really love that much. (Thanks GM!!)

I do know my local Target does have these boxes still on the shelves and I'm sure yours will too....so hurry and check these out!
