I don't think any of us have forgotten those Dr Seuss goodies from I Can Do That Games. Well
Wonder Forge is 'forging' into 2011 with a whole bunch of new, exciting games for kids and Chuggington's Traintastic Cargo Game is one of them!

The Buzz:

In Chuggington's Traintastic Cargo Game , a trainload of surprises is chugging into the depot! Can you find the right cargo? Look inside the boxcars for the shapes, colors and numbers you need.

But watch out - you never know when Old Puffer Pete will chug around the track and mix up everything! It's a fun game of memory, pattern matching and discovery!

CONTENTS: Game Box with Rotating Train Disk and 8 Boxcar Doors, 4 Game Boards, 30 Vee cards, 32 Cargo Pieces, 1 Game Rules Manual

How to play the game:

To begin with you will need to randomly place the cargo pieces into the boxcar containers, ensuring each container has atleast 2 pieces stored in the same. (You do not need to place an equal number of pieces in each container)

Once this is done, position and place the train disk on the knob, ensuring that Vee's purple light can be seen through the circular signal light cutout.

Then cover the containers with the box cars doors and get ready to play.

Allow the youngest player to pick their favorite Chuggington character for the game

and then get him/her to pick one of the shuffled Vee cards from the pile. Each player follows suit. (Each player's Vee card will indicate the type of cargo he/she will need to collect)

To move around the board, everyone takes turns to spin the arrow, starting with the youngest player again.

The objective of the game is to be the first player to fill his/her Chuggington bogies with the cargo reflected on the Vee card.

* This game will be enjoyed by children aged 3 years and older.*

E.B. Mommy's Report:

Chuggington's Traintastic Cargo Game is now our hot favorite at home. I personally love the game because it's quick and fun but I will add that you may need to play it a few times before your child gets the hang of the game.

It will teach your child to recognize and match shapes, colors and numbers, as well as memorize where he/she may have seen certain pieces of cargo while making that 'spin' around the board.

Warning: If you have babies/toddlers at home I would advise you play this game away from his/her reach. We made the mistake of playing this while seated on the floor and before we knew it Bunny Boo reached out and tried to "taste" two cargo pieces. Thankfully I was right next to him when it happened.
The cargo pieces are tiny enough for a little one to swallow or even choke on. So stay alert!
