Spring into 2011 with pediped's New Collection (Review Only)

If pediped shoes warmed your heart with their machine washable shoes then, as Bambi would say, their Spring/Summer 2011 line will have you "twitterpated" in no time!

The Buzz:

The crowning glory of the Spring/Summer 2011 collection is the new Adventure Line, an extension of the popular Flex collection.

Not only are these comfortable shoes eco-friendly with a natural rubber sole, toe caps and Velcro straps but they're also machine washable and water safe.

The Spring/Summer 2011 collection is also a proud showcase of over 75 new styles from three main pediped lines:
  • Originals-soft soled infant shoes
  • Grip ‘n’ Go-G2 technology shoes for toddlers and
  • Flex-perfect shoes for confident walkers.

E.B. Mommy's Report:

Bunny girl is one of those "hop, skip and run from point A to point B" kind of children and if she doesn't wear good footwear with support on her heel and ankles, she'll complain of foot aches by the end of the day.

It has been close to 9 months since she has been using her first pair of pediped Joelle Flex shoes and they're nowhere close to looking like they'll wear out anytime soon! They've been worn to the zoo, to preschool, to the park, for walks outdoors and even to church and I have to admit that they're one of Bunny girl's nicer pair of shoes.

Considering our positive experience with Flex, I was excited to have her try out the new Penny Pink Flex with Memory Foam Technology.

Memory Foam Technology provides the shoe with a cushioned insole that embraces the wearer's foot comfortably. The Penny Pink has a firm exterior to support the foot but the soles have flexible pliability that allows easy movement of the foot.

With the amount of jumping around Bunny girl does, I love that this shoes comes with shock absorbing cushioning on the heels, which helps minimize the friction impact each times she lands on her feet and protects her feet from getting sore.

Now the shoes are still a little too big for Bunny girl but thanks to the 2mm insole that comes with the pair, Bunny girl can grow into her shoes. Most of the pediped shoes come with this practical system called the Flex Fit System. At the rate our kids grow out of shoes and clothes, this is one way they get to atleast wear their shoes for a considerable period of time!

This year marks the launch of the pediped Foundation. The Foundation will support children's causes and wonderful organizations like the Make A Wish Foundation, St Jude's Children's Hospital and K.I.D.S. In Distress. Till date their donations is cash and kind have valued close to 700,000 US$. What a blessing!

pediped has my Mommy stamp of approval and the fact that they're also giving back to the community, makes spending money on the brand all the more worth it.

Buy it:

You can buy the Penny Pink Flex for 52 US$ (+ shipping)
