Introducing the 'Sprout Flash' (Feature-Good Egg!)

PBS Kids' Sprout is a popular channel is most households. I love that Sprout features all Bunny girl's favorites from the Wiggly Wiggles, to our purple dino fave Barney, preschooler Caillou and furry little Elmo. Name a quality preschooler program and you will notice that Sprout has it featured!


What many parents don't know is that there's a lot of great stuff happening on Sprout Online as well and as a member of Sprout's Band of Bloggers, I thought it would be fun to have periodic 'Sprout Flashes' to let you in on the latest fun Sprout activities.

All set for our first Sprout Flash? Here we go ....

• Want a fun way to get your child all egg-ed up on his/her polite and kind behavior? ... How about starting off with a little motivation, with a Good Egg Award Chart and later as an incentive, awarding him/her with a 'Good Egg Award Certificate'. You can also nominate your little one for a Sprout-astic Good Egg Award and it could appear on TV!

While you're on the site you will find a lot of awesome Preschooler resources. I love the Craft and Coloring pages segment best of all. Ooh and if you like spending time in the kitchen with your little one, there are some easy to make recipes you must check out.

There's so much to explore! For now let me leave you with this much and here's a quick heads up.....Sprout's hosting a Sing a Song video contest where you can send in a video of your child singing his/her favorite Sprout song! (Hmmm....wonder what Bunny girl would pick?)
