CLOSED: MomAgenda Review and Giveaway

The winner's name has been announced on this post.

I always say Mommies are professional jugglers who who have been placed in the lives of their families to ensure things run smoothly and with organization! Now that we're officially into the school year (I love saying that! Never mind that Bunny girl only goes to preschool but atleast now I get to say we're in a school year versus you're in a school year!!), the carnival of activities have begun. If you have an older kid and a younger one you will know how well you've learnt to juggle pick ups and drops to and from school, soccer practices, swimming lessons, gymboree sessions and......sigh.....well, the list just goes on! And if you work out there in the corporate world well.....that just calls for SOME MORE juggling!!

Nina Restieri was a former successful ad executive and accomplished businesswoman who knew the exact drill especially with four young children in her household. To get things to work like clockwork, she needed to implement the laws of organization not just into her business tasks but now also in the lives of her family. In 2005 Nina had a brainwave. She realized that blushing brides-to-be would fanatically plan their big day with elaborate wedding planners.....why not Mommies too? And voila, momAgenda was created.

The first momAgenda product sold like hotcakes 3 days after it hit the US markets in 120 stores nationwide and today, you will find momAgenda has practically any organizational product you as a Mommy could need. Not only do you get organized with a momAgenda product BUT you get organized with style!

Take a look at this svelte looking daily organizer I received, in fuchsia.
(I love the color.)

The first few pages have monthly grids that you can fill in with important events, occasions or first glance important reminders. (I use this for birthday, anniversary and special milestone reminders.)These run from August 2009-August 2010.

The organizer in itself is organized with your 'To Do' stuff for yourself and your 'To Do' stuff for the kids- so neat! Again each segment is divided AM, Noon and PM. (Now how can you forget to do something!) Each open segment has that month's calendar on the top of the left page and a 'Mommy' inspirational/thought on the top of the right page. Each page has an additional margin that you can use to write out those mental notes to yourself for the activities of that day, must-buys for a recipe later that evening or whatever else that comes to your mind.

The last few pages of the organizer include a mini calendar list out from September 2010-August 2011. You also have a few pages titled
  • Books,
  • Movies,
  • Music,
  • Fashion,
  • Restaurants,
  • Health fitness,
  • Gift record (I so love this idea! This way you will never forget who gave you what and the list will always remind you to write out that thank you note for the right gift!!) and
  • Entertaining resources (That's right! Jot out your list of favorite caterers, lodging, taxi services, invitations et al. This way even if you need Hubby to help you out with something , he will know exactly who you would call!)
And finally, the Organizer has a little 'momEssentials' book inserted within, for all your telephone contacts and addresses.

EVERYTHING you need to schedule can get chalked out into your momagenda Mini-Daily and it's small enough to carry in your handbag or leave in the car's glove compartment!

The momagenda Mini-Daily retails for 40US$ (for an extra 4.95$ you can personalize the product) and can be bought online or in these stores.(Shipping for an order over 75$ is free)

I've not finished yet!! There's another great product that I love- the weekly Family Planner!!

Guess why I love this?...Simply because I can chalk out our family's activities for the week and leave it up on our fridge for Hubby's reference too. This way he always knows what we have planned for the days ahead and I don't have to keep reminding him. (Ha!Ha!)

The pad has a magnetic strip on the back, so each week I just need to rip off the first page to go to the next week. Plus I can jot down activities as they get scheduled even if they're 2 weeks away. (Another benefit is this pad is undated so you can start using it whenever you feel like things need to get systematic around...'wink'!)

Again the pad is subdivided into a segment for Mommy and a segment for the kids but in our home I've left the top end for the activities we need to do as a family and below the first kids sub-segment for Bunny girl's dedicated activities, the next one for mine and the third for Hubby.

The momAgenda Family Planner retails for 16.95$ and can be bought online or in these stores.(Shipping for an order over 75$ is free)
