Johnson's Baby Products-Review and Giveaway

This is one company I could talk about forever. Bunny girl could be their little promoter! Ever since she entered this world, the only product I have used on her is Johnson's. Somehow I could not think of using anything else when I knew I was to have a baby. I just trusted the brand....relied on the years of experience...banked on the testimonies of mothers of all ages around me. Now today I know this was one decision I will never regret. I just have to put it down for the record- I love Johnson's baby products!

There are 3 products I have been loyal to for the past 3 and a half years- the soap (we've now graduated to Johnson's Buddies!), the moisturizing lotion and the shampoo. Johnson's has a product portfolio that is rich with more products but these have been my favorites for Bunny girl.

I was so excited when I was asked to review a basket full of Johnson's products.....how ever could I turn this down?! What's more exciting is one of you will have the opportunity to win ALL the products you will read about below- Yippee!

Are you all set for your Johnson's Crash Course? Buckle up....here we go!

Desitin Maximum Strength is the product you need to grab off the shelf when your baby has one of those sore, itchy diaper rashes. The rub on paste is rich with zinc oxide which helps heal and soothe the inflamed area and brings relief overnight unlike other brands that take a day or two. Desitin is a Pediatrician recommended brand that generally retails at 5.49$ for a 4 oz tube.

All children are born with inbuilt sensors to love bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles! With Johnson's baby bubble bath and wash you can rest assured you are using a product that has not only been clinically tested extensively by Dermatologists but Pediatricians as well. With this product, not only can your little one have fun playing with the bubbles, but at the same time have a good wash. This is recommended for children as young as 6 months.
Suggested retail for 15 oz is 3.99$. (You can use this coupon to get 1$ off. )

Johnson's Head to Toe foaming wash acts like a soap rinse for your baby's bath. The wash is proven to be milder than soap and is great to use even on newborns. It can be used on your baby's body and hair. It's soap free, dye free and hypoallegenic.
This retails at a suggested price of 4.89$ for a 9 oz bottle.

I can vouch for the Johnson's baby shampoo any day. Bunny girl's hair has bonded with this shampoo especially since this is the only shampoo that gets lathered into her hair! I can confirm it is mild and washes out easily, leaving a lovely, fresh fragrance. The 'No Tears' formula is the best part about this product- no itchy eyes, no 'my eyes are burning' situations and ...no tears during the bath!!
Suggested retail for a 15 oz bottle is 3.29 $

I've not tried the Johnson's leave-in conditioner yet. Bunny girl has straight, silky hair which does not tangle terribly. A few light comb throughs and the tangles are out. This product is recommended to unlock stubborn knots and tangles in your little one's hair. It is said to leave your child's hair more manageable.
This retails for 3.49 $

When Bunny girl was a few days old, we'd use the Baby Oil for her pre-bath massages before we switched to using Olive Oil. At the time we didn't have the Baby Oil gels available. The gels are your moisturizing solution for your little one's skin right after a bath. Whether we accept it or not, our skin dries up and loses its moisture especially when we're in an air-conditioned environment. It's important to keep baby's skin well moisturized especially right after a bath. Plus a good bath and a nice moisturizing rub after will help your baby have a lovely, long nap.
My favorite from the 3 gels is the Shea and Cocoa Butter oil gel. It leaves the skin feeling 'baby soft'! (Yes it's a great moisturizer for you too!- wink!)
Baby Oil gel retails at 3.29$ for a 6.5 oz container.

Not all Moms use baby powder on their children. I am one of those Moms! I always stuck to the lotion and that's it. But if you do use baby powder on your child I would say Johnson's all the way! Not only is it gentle to the skin but it's mild for use on your baby. (It's also great to use to remove the sand off your feet just before stepping into the car after a day at the beach. Sprinkle the powder on your soles and voila the sand drops off!)
Johnson's Baby Powder generally retails at 3.29$ for 15 oz.

Johnson's baby lotion is the lotion I used for the first year of Bunny girl's life. (I later switched to using the bedtime lotion) This has always been a great moisturizer for her skin and I've loved the 'creamy' fragrance she has had once this was applied on the skin. The 'baby smell'! The lotion has never left an oily feel to her skin, instead it has always left her skin feeling soft and 'sponge'-y!
This Pediatrician recommended lotion is suggested to retail at 2.99$ for 15 oz.
The latest entrant to Johnson's baby product portfolio is Johnson's Head to Toe Fragrance free baby lotion. Introduced into the market in June 2009, this lotion is said to be mild enough to use on a baby's face. (I have used both lotions on Bunny girl's face and even as a baby, she has never had any skin reactions to the Johnson's lotions) This lotion is dye free, fragrance free and paraben free. (Paraben is a chemical used as a preservative in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.) This also contains Vitamin E which is a great skin conditioner.

To me the product works well on Bunny girl's skin though the 'fragrance free' part of the product does not excite me as much as I miss the Johnson's lotion scent too much! It makes me think "Awww, where did the baby go?" when I smell Bunny girl. I guess I just the new 'fragrance free' scent just needs to grow on me.
A 15 oz bottle of Johnson's Head to Toe Fragrance free baby lotion is suggested to retail at 4.39$

Wow! That was a detailed crash course! I always feel it's better to bring all the facts to the table (and prices too) especially when it comes to baby products. You really should know what are the best products to use for your precious, delicate little one. I can affirm that Johnson's has not disappointed me yet and I sincerely hope you will be able to say the same once you try out their safe, gentle, baby friendly products.

You can access 1$ off coupons for some of the products mentioned above- save, save save!
