We've been talking about the need to be more environment conscious in every area of our lives and that includes the kitchen! Using non-stick pans are great but studies have proven that these pans slowly begin to emit harmful toxins after consistent use and this can be carcinogenic.

I've kept our Copenhagen pan aside for small quantum sauteing, making omelettes or frying odds and ends for a main dish.

The beauty of a GreenPan is it heats quickly (it's heat resistant up to 550°C / 850°F) and you really just need a dash of oil if you need to saute something.

The pan's Thermolon make-up facilitates faster cooking, using less energy and what's great is that this also helps reduce the carbon emissions during the application of the coating by 60%!
