Bunny Boo celebrates his first Christmas this year and even though he's too young to understand what's happening around him, as parents we still think it's important to get him his very own Christmas prezzie but that's easier said than done. What can you get an infant that will grab his attention and not cost an arm and a leg to buy the same?

How about VTech Toys Winnie The Pooh Explore 'n' Learn Table?

Till I saw this toy 'in action' I didn't really believe it could entertain my now 5 month old.....



but I was wrong.

As soon as we set the Explore 'n' Learn Table on the floor and switched it on. Bunny Boo creeped as fast as he could (Yes he has begun to creep on his tummy...Yay!) to the toy and watched with amazement as the lights flashed around the A-B-C-D buttons.



After watching big sister Bunny girl press the buttons to activate Pooh's voice or music, he realized he could bring his toy 'to life' with just a thump with the palm of his hand.

The Winnie The Pooh Explore 'n' Learn Table is age suggestive for children in the age range of 6 months -36 months. It's a great toy to

• Enhance fine motor skills
  
• Teach a child their numbers from 1-4
• Learn 5 Alphabets: A-E and their corresponding objects (Eg: B for Butterfly)
  
• Learn 4 Shapes and
  
• Identify 4 Colors
• Teach a child to listen to an instruction and respond to a question by tapping on the right button
  

This can also be propped up to stand as a table.



The legs firmly snap into place and can only be removed if the clasps are held to release the same.



I think this is a nice feature but I would prefer to have Bunny Boo play with this on the floor even when he's older and can stand, only because the risk of the table slipping on our carpet and having him lose his balance and fall onto the same is a small possibility. (But then it's always better to be safe than sorry.)

What I do like doing though, is setting this up as a table, sitting on the floor and placing Bunny Boo on my lap to allow him to play with it at his level, without crouching forward (if he is being held up with support)




Additional play features include

• A spinning honeybee
• A bouncing Tigger
• A sliding Eeyore
• A toddler grip sized, movable Pooh
• Turning knobs
• Sliding levers
  
• A roller with pictures of Pooh and his friends on it and
  
• A nice big mirror for your little one to peer into.

This is such an entertaining, learning toy for a baby, or even an early preschooler.
