You've seen the ads, you've heard the buzz and you've been wondering when this is to hit the market. Well your wait will soon come to an end. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue opens in theaters on September 21, 2010.

Bunny girl and I were fortunate to be able to preview the movie yesterday and to put it very simply....we loved it!


The Story

The fairies are out in the Mainland for a good long season. It's summer and the flowers are in full bloom, the little animals scurry around happily and everyone is blissful except for one restless little fairy who's in search of something....anything.... to do.
Tinker Bell's inquisitiveness gets the better of her and she flies off in a quest to find out what its is that has caught her eye in the 'human world'. One thing leads to another and Tinker Bell gets trapped in a little house, in a quiet English countryside, only to find that the house she is in is a tiny fairy house made by a girl called Lizzy.

Lizzy is a child who believes with all her heart that fairies do exist much to the dismay of her scientific theology believing father who always seems to be busy with work .


Lizzy is thrilled to find Tinker Bell in her fairy house and quickly takes her home while news reaches the fairies who then rush to find a way to rescue Tinker amidst the dangerous, stormy and wet weather.


Tinker on the other hand slowly takes in, with awe, amusement and amazement all that her first human friend does and says.
(You may not have known this but Tinker meets Lizzy much before she meets Wendy and the Lost Boys)


Slowly they become the best of friends.

This action packed CG animated movie is filled with adventure and excitement


and tells the beautiful story of friendship.

Lizzy is precious and Tinker Bell is....oh you know.....just Tinker-iffic!
I personally think this is the best out of all three Tinker movies I've watched. Thumbs up!
