It's been over two months since we moved into our new home and we're slowly getting the place took look more and more 'home-y' with the right furniture. We've been keeping our eyes open for good deals especially with pieces we've fallen in love with and hopefully by the end of the year we should be done with all that we need.

Now Southern Enterprises, Inc. don't sell their pieces to the general public directly. They work through reputed dealers like Allegro Shops.


Allegro Shops has this beautiful espresso ottoman for a steal. If you order through them, you will receive the ottoman un-assembled but don't worry...putting it together is a breeze.


Now I'm no 'handy dandy' 'put things together' kind of person so I did take a little longer than most people to put my precious piece together. (Hubby offered to help but I wanted to assemble this longed for ottoman alone)

The ottoman measures 25.5" W x 19.5" D x 19" Tall in dimension and has a comfortable padded faux leather cushion top.

You can store you dvds or cds in the lower drawer


and in the upper drawer that is covered with the cushioned top, that serves as the lid.


Both levels can hold a combined total of 142 dvds or 312 cds.

We've placed our media storage ottoman close to our console, right below a window. Unless told, nobody would guess our sleek dark wood 'seat' serves as a storage base as well.

I love how this piece blends in beautifully in our living room. It's as if it were custom-made just for us!
