CLOSED: Macy's Go Red for Women (+ Giveaway)

I'm sure you know someone who has been a victim of America's #1 killer among men and women....heart disease and strokes. Never will those memories be erased but at a time like this, we need to unite along with survivors from this battle to make a difference. We need to celebrate the passion, energy, determination, will power and strength of those women who've fought the disease and GO RED!!

This February 5th 2010 (Friday), Macys has joined forces with the American Heart Association in the Go Red for Women campaign, to crusade against heart disease and strokes. This will be the 6th year in a row that Macys will join in the campaign to educate and raise funds for this worthy cause. (Since 2004, Macys has raised 21 million US$ for the Go Red for Women movement.)

Here's what you can do to get involved in this campaign:
  • Share your story on how you've made the choice to live more healthy and improve your well being on the Go Red 2010 Casting Calls.

Will you pledge to Go Red?

  175. I found this fact about awareness among race interesting, "Results of the study, commissioned by the American Heart Association, revealed that although 60 percent of white women were aware of heart disease as the leading cause of death for women, less than half of African-American (43 percent), Hispanic (44 percent) and Asian (34 percent) women identified heart disease as the leading cause."
