I've heard many people say they're in rush to take their kids to school, so just pack them a snack and a big, heavy lunch to tide the little ones through the day. I know many adults who skip breakfast, eat a heavy lunch at work and an even heavier dinner once they get back home.... Two scenarios that scream out 'UNHEALTHY' all the way!Growing up, I thought my Mom was unfair to stuff us with a solid breakfast, juice/milk and then send us to school. Today as a Mom, I see myself making sure Bunny girl eats an equivalently nutritious and healthy a breakfast as possible....yes, I see my Mom in myself now!
It's important our children and selves begin the day with a good substance filled meal for more efficiency in performance and activity through the day. Breakfast is crucial and yes with time seeming limited on our hands half the time, a quick and easy way to do this is to feed your child and yourself with a bowl of cereal and milk.

Why cereal?
Cereals are...
- Rich in important vitamins, minerals and nutrients like vitamin A, B6, iron, niacin and zinc
- Wholesome with atleast 8 grams of whole grains per serving
- A healthier breakfast alternative with less fat and less cholesterol resulting in healthier body weight and lower Body Mass Index Measures

Now everyone knows Bunny girl and I have a weakness for General Mills' cereal- Cheerios (Honey Nut and Multi-grain Cheerios being our favorites!).
Did you know that General Mills has recently committed to taking an additional step towards providing us with a healthier bowl of cereal by....
- Reducing the sugar levels to single digit grams per serving and
- Increasing key nutrients like calcium, vitamin D and whole grain? (Over 20 General Mills cereals today confirm providing 16 grams of whole grain per cereal serving.)
** EBMR Disclaimer: In collaboration with this awareness campaign I have received 4 coupons for free cereal and the published information from General Mills through My Blog Spark. This review has not been monetarily compensated.**
