It's awfully hot out here and I cringe each time I see a person riding a bicycle under the piercing rays of the sun. There are many days I've sat near the window and thought "Thank God I'm in here and not out there under the scorching heat" (I know I've become spoilt but then it IS too hot to stay outdoors!!)

I remember our recent trip to Sea World a little over a month ago. Temperature readings were high, the heat intensity measured its pinnacle and there we were out in the sun walking from one attraction to the other. It was only on our drive back home did the consequences strike. I felt nauseous and had a splitting headache....the sun had got to me. After that sickening experience I've always been careful not to allow Bunny girl to venture out into the sun for long periods of time. I always insist she and Hubby use the pool only post 7 pm but this weekend it was different.

Bunny girl woke up as bright as a button and asked if she could swim. I hesitated and thought twice but then remembered it would be the perfect opportunity to try out her UV Skinz swim shirt and I'm glad I did!
