Here's a post I put up in March 2009, when I just started blogging, it was a conversation Bunny girl and I had the year prior......
One afternoon after narrating the story of Noah and the Ark to an engrossed little 2 year old, I decided to do a recap of the story by asking Bunny girl to fill in the blanks while I summarized the main segments in brief. Every blank was answered with a quick accurate reply till I asked, "And God told Noah to build...."
There was silence as my darling tot thought and then confidently replied "A SNOWMAN"(!!!)
While reposting this I remembered another Bunny girl chuckle that happened a few weeks after the 'Snowman' conversation. This one had my Mom on the other end of Skype and her giggly grand-dottie on this end of the computer. We talked about Bunny girl's latest antics and accomplishments and I mentioned Bunny girl had a favorite Bible character and egged Mom to ask her who it was.
My Mom:" Who is you favorite person in the Bible?"
Bunny girl thought and thought (Hmmm... I knew she had mentioned Noah the last several times the question had been asked to her on different occasions...maybe she had a new favorite?)
Finally after much deliberation, she happily stated
" MICKEY MOUSE" (!!!)
Oh well....out of the mouth of babes!
P.S. Want to keep chuckling? Check out
what Bunny girl wants to be when she grows up
and
Why she doesn't want to go to Heaven.
Came here through Tim's Carnival! 2 really cute Stories!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! This was great, and I got to laugh 3 times!
ReplyDeleteWell maybe more. There was the snowman, then the Mickey Mouse answer, then the frog teacher, and last but not least you cant leave out her intelligence for why she doesnt want to go to heaven because of Leo.

I love stories like this - a few years ago the day after Easter, my daughter was singing in the car: I see the Lord seated on the throne, Exhausted!
ReplyDeleteNoah could definitely make a snowman here with the storm we are getting! Kids are so cute with some of the stuff that gets into their heads.
ReplyDeleteI love it!! Bet Noah (and Mickey) would laugh too.
