Bunny Boo is a "swaddle" testament. We swaddled him for the first 3 months or so and then slowly phased out swaddling and replaced the swaddles with sleep sacks only because his swaddle cloths got a little too short for my big boy! I haven't thrown out any of his swaddle sheets and just last evening put his Ultimate Receiving Blanket (that is now being used as a 'lie on' cover) in for its weekly wash.

SwaddleDesigns Cotton Marquisette is similar to muslin but is made from premium quality yarns while SwaddleDesigns Cotton Flannel is made from premium preshrunk domestic cotton.

The reason behind why they've included two fabric options, can be found in the SwaddleDesigns Goldilocks Guide. Basically, the "baby should not be too hot, or too cold, but just right ~ comfortably warm." The Goldilock’s Guide also helps new parents remember the importance of keeping baby comfortably warm.

What I love about this set is the choice of two varying swaddle fabrics especially considering we have such a variance in temperatures, especially here in Texas.


Both blankets can also be used as nursing cover ups when you've forgotten to carry your nursing cover along!

If you're a new Mommy-to-be I would definitely recommend this as a wise add when you're drawing up your list of baby essentials before your baby shower.
