I have had the opportunity of bringing a little more warmth (and light!) into my home with a beautiful Plow and Hearth Classic Lamp. Choosing something elegant for our home from the number of choices the site had to offer, was hard. It was thus, naturally exciting to learn that Plow and Hearth proudly owns another store that classically showcases products that reflect sophistication and elegance....the Winterthur Store.

The Winterthur Store carries accessories and gifts that have drawn inspiration from the gorgeous Winterthur estate that was home to the Du Pont family for four generations.

Browsing through the site like a child in a candy store, I fell in love with this Montello Console Table


and this classic Metal Works Wall Clock.


I have even bookmarked this site to show my Hubby this awesome gift we could get my brother-in-law, especially since he adores our family dog, a black lab.

It was on my second "comb through the site window shopping" days that I came across these exquisite Honore Tea Cup and Saucer sets.


The design for this set has been adapted from a French dessert plate created by Edouard Honore circa 1850, that is now found in the Winterthur Museum and Gardens collection.

What a perfect set to use when we have to entertain and the request comes up for some of my delicious steaming masala chai....mmmmm!

I couldn't resist the temptation to order more than one set and before I knew it, the courier service delivered my final order of 6 delicate Honore Tea Cup and Saucer sets, all in one piece, not a chip or crack anywhere!
(Thankfully Hubby approved!)
