Hasbro's Family Game Night products are a great way to spend quality time with the family during the upcoming holidays.

To give you a little peek into some of the fun choices Hasbro has, I've featured three games for three different age ranges. (Something for everybody!)


4 years + Game Night Fun

I think this is a game that any preschooler will enjoy (yes thanks to the noise they make!).
Personally, though, I wish the game had been made more durable, the hippos would close their mouths as they should through the game (an odd hippo or two would have 'mouth freeze' incidents) and perhaps a little more learning fun be incorporated into the same.


8 years + Game Night Fun



In Nab It getting the most words gives you the "last word" ! This fun, family word-building game challenges you to link your colored tiles to create words crossword-style and then steal words from your opponents by stacking your tiles on top of theirs.
When all the tiles have been used, count up the words showing -- if you've got the most, you win!

While growing up, one of my all time favorite games was Scrabble. If you liked Scrabble, you will LOVE Nab It. This is a great word challenge game that really gets you to dig deep into your vocabulary vaults to find words to grab away your opponent(s) word and then build up your score at the end of the game.
(Note: Each player has his/her own set of colored tiles making it easy to score up at the end.)


16 years + Game Night Fun



Trivial Pursuit- Steal is the perfect trivia game if you have just 15 minutes to spare.
This fast-paced game is the first ever Trivial Pursuit card game that combines questions and answers with the strategy of winning your wedges by stealing your opponents' - all in a quick-play card game.
Contents: 55 question cards, 54 play cards, and 1 category reference card.

Sounds silly but this is my first try at Trivial Pursuit. (Honestly!)
Having said that, I like how this is one of those 'test what you know' kind of games on six subjects. The objective of the game is to basically answer one of the 330 questions included and earn wedges, while trying to ensure your opponent doesn't steal your wedge(s) away from you. Trivial Pursuit-Steal is a fast moving game and a definite one of those nail biters!
