I've always loved visiting department stores. Aisles filled with clothes hung up, shelves stocked with shoes in every size and color.....Aaah....shoppers bliss! It's so neat to find Cookie's Kids with an online presence especially since they've been awarded the titles of 'the World’s Largest Kids Department Store' and the 'Number 1 School Uniform Headquarters in the United States' ( Ref: Crains Magazine 2007)

Cookie's Kids uniforms, baby and infant clothes(and accessories), boys department, girls department and toys are not in-house products but creations of brand giants like Disney, Carter's, Levi's, Nike and Kenneth Cole.

We had the opportunity to review a Guess apparel set and a Klix pair of shoes.


I will be honest....I was a little apprehensive about dressing Bunny Boo in a purple tinged denim set but thankfully the set does not look at all like the picture on the site. (Whew!)

The Guess Lounge Denim set includes

• A Jacket: soft denim-look jersey, logo snaps, seam accents, chest flaps, embroidered logo. (74% Cotton, 14% Rayon, 9% Polyester, 3% Spandex) and

Bunny Boo looks adorable in this (Okay I admit it...all babies look super cute in denim anything!) and I love that this isn't bulky in fabric but is lightweight and comfortable for an infant to wear.

These are simple yet comfortable. A great pair to slip on to school or even to church. The buckle stays on with velcro (a great plus for preschoolers who aren't comfortable with buckle snaps) and yes, these shoes are made of genuine leather. (My older readers will vouch for my "Go Leather for shoes" preference!)
