I had the opportunity to try out their Nursing Pillow and Nursing Cover. Two products that I use regularly...one while I'm at home and the other for when we go out.

Now the Balboa Baby Nursing Pillow is unlike your regular nursing pillow.


It's contoured to fit around me yet does not envelope me like other pillows. It's firmer than my other pillow yet is not uncomfortable and (the feature I love the best..) has a slight incline that raises and assists Bunny Boo to latch on easily and nurse without rolling his head back.


The pillow cover is removable (Thus washable) and made from 100% cotton.

I have to admit that it took me a few nursing sessions to get used to not having the pillow wrap around my sides and the lack of a complete 'spongey' feel had me a little skeptical about how Bunny Boo would feel on the same but apparently he seems very comfortable. Oh and how could I forget....the incline is what makes this pillow a winner!

The Balboa Baby Nursing Cover is my 'church' cover that I use when I go in to nurse Bunny Boo in the 'Women and Babies Room'


The cover's reinforced neckline allows me to see Bunny Boo while he nurses and allows air circulation, thereby ensuring he doesn't feel claustrophobic and suffocated while under the fabric.


The cover can be adjusted using the neck strap and also has a generously sized pocket that can house wipe cloths for spit up.

The cover makes nursing easy while sitting in a public setting. The people around don't feel uncomfortable and Bunny Boo is happy as he gets fed when needed.

Both the Nursing Pillow and the Nursing Cover would make great baby shower gifts. A friend of mine will be having her baby at the end of the year and I've bookmarked a pillow for her!
