She's back!...Twirling and pirouetting in a pretty pink tutu while wearing a prominent pink bow on her head is Angelina in her very first CG animated dvd- Angelina Ballerina: Love to Dance.

Now Bunny girl has found a new love for all things ballet, so when it was time to watch the dvd, she decided to don her pink tutu and wear the Angelina Mouse Ears hairband she was sent. Once she was 'appropriately' dressed she settled down to watch the 8 year old mouseling

The dvd features varying dance styles, new friends, music and more in these five episodes:

Angelina's new school
Angelina's dance partner
Angelina's oldest friend
Angelina's sleepover and
Angelina and the Hip-Hop kid.

I've always enjoyed watching Angelina especially as her little stories have a 'take home' moral for my little ballerina. This dvd is no exception. Different little life lessons we picked up from the same include the importance of accepting another person's differences, adapting to new situations, making the right decisions and being a good friend.

This August 31 2010 release from Hit Entertainment and Lionsgate production has an approximate run time of 62 minutes and also includes 3 bonus features-2 Angelina Music Videos and 1 Interactive Game.

Another dvd (+ blu-ray combo pack) that is featured on practically every kids channel I switch to is the latest Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue

This CG animated action packed adventure begins with Thomas and his friends helping build the Search and Rescue Center. All seems to go well till a fellow engine needs help and Thomas steps in. What follows is a special reward that results in Thomas getting lost and landing up in Misty Island. While there, Thomas finds new friends- Bash, Dash and Ferdinand who eventually help him return to Sodor.

This is defintiely another 'Thomas' visual treat for both big and little engine lovers.

This September 7 2010 release from Hit Entertainment and Lionsgate production has an approximate run time of 58 minutes and also includes 3 bonus features-The Search for Thomas' Game and 2 Thomas Karaoke Music Videos
