This is a great dvd from the educational stand point as it challenges a child to expand his/her vocabulary (Thanks to the Cat's continuous rhyming) and teaches him/her interesting facts in a fun, oblivious way.
For instance, the first episode teaches the young viewer how bees make honey.

I also love the way the Cat insists the kids ask their parents permission before they go off on their adventures and how he always insists they buckle up before setting off.

This September 7 2010 release from NCircle Entertainment has an approximate run time of 60 minutes and also includes additional bonus features - Fish facts, Hat Chat, Thing Things and Songs.

I hope this won't be the last Cat In The Hat release as I personally think preschoolers, kindergartners and first graders will love to spend time with the Cat learning more about the world they live in.
