Today with all the crazy news reports one reads about lead levels in X toy and chemicals found on Y toy, you sometimes think twice about actually stopping at the local retail store and picking up a toy for your little one. Bunny girl was sent a Color Me Up Butterfly Puzzle set


You know how much my little Puzzle enthusiast loves puzzles, so this was received with excitement....which was then replaced by curiosity. "Mama why is it a brown butterfly?" was the immediate concern.

Well....the butterfly's brown because she has to first work on a painting project first before she can work on the puzzle....isn't that fun?

So off to work my 'Eager Beaver went'.....


She has been having a field day with the paints and her slowly transforming butterfly. We haven't finished yet as its so much fun to experiment with the different colors!


I'm hoping by this weekend, we will get to this point so that she can do the 'easy-peasy' puzzle.


(But I'm not banking on it as she seems to have forgotten the Butterfly is actually a puzzle and not just an art project....Oh well...as long as she's having fun!)
